Such internships promise you an "international accredited" TESOL certificate after finishing 6 months in their schools or kindergartens. I was wondering how they manage the training and the international accreditation in small cities schools. Usually TEFL and CELTA are offered from accredited institutes not schools.
Do you have any comments about such programs? Does it worth spending 6 months here in China for the promised TESOL certificate ? does really this piece of crap certificate cost 1500$ ?

I've seen ads for these kinds of places - I would approach with extreme caution if I were you; and demand full pay while doing my 'internship'.
Silverstein:
They said they pay 300$ every month with 100$ after contract bonus.
MissA:
My advice, say no - work for six months in a university or language mill for 4-5 times the pay, save the extra money and use the extra income to do a CELTA/Trinity, then get a good job. You'd be better qualified still have more money.
While MissA might be cautious (even if extremely), personally I wouldn't touch any of them with a 10' pole!
As Crimo said, you're working for free for a certificate which is most likely completely pointless in the real world. (ie, CELTA and Trinity don't offer such an 'internship'). I have seen a job advertised where you get a CELTA at the end of 2 years, and you're paid throughout (but it was in Turkey, and there were other issues).
Seriously, just spend the money, and get your own piece of paper....
Are you serious?? I paid half the price of that which you stated and received more than just one certificate. I've met the people that run the Tesol program in Beijing and I wouldn't go back there. They weren't that helpful. I was good enough to be able to find a job on my own without their help. And also, six months is too long. It only took me three weeks!
