white flowers can't be sent to people cause white is a typical color used in Chinese funeral. other flowers like roses is okay..

The clock being a bad idea is definitely correct. I bought one for my wife on the occasion of our 1st wedding anniversary and it was very nearly our last!
When we were in the UK and buying presents one of the biggest things was making sure whatever you bought wasn't made in China, for my wife and her social circle such a gift would be unforgivable!

the exemption is the kids who are made in Australia however were packaged in China
