One of your recent posts contained abusive or racial overtones, and was deleted as a result. There is nothing wrong with criticizing an aspect of Chinese society or culture, however insulting or defaming all Chinese is not acceptable - use reason and put yourself in other people's shoes before posting. Mindless China-bashing will not be tolerated, and, in case of repeated offense, could lead to a ban.
I really don't have a problm with it if it turns out to be a Brit
What was racist about it?

Was that your post about the London thing? I wondered what happened to that, was surprised to see it had been deleted.
The last time I checked in I didn't see anything over the top there - different opinions yeah, some of them quite strong but I would have thought that's OK. I don't remember seeing anything at all about Chinese people.
Did someone take it in a different direction and start involving Chinese people somehow?
philbravery:
I can't remember even seeing the words China or Chinese in that post. Maybe you should pm the user /moderator and ask them nicely to look into it. I didn't think we han a admin anymore anyway
Stiggs:
Like I said, I thought it was ok the last time I looked. I don't know what was said after that.
Playing devil's advocate here, I don't think anything that isn't a scam or spam should be deleted.
But I think they took that post as "Because the victims were muslims, I don't care. They have it coming because of their behavior as a community and Britons are right to feel the need to hit back"
I totally share your skepticism that the islamic communities in western countries are positive contributors whose only problem is the racism of white people. But...coming down on the side of the guy who do it is still a pretty controversial position.
expatlife26:
alright fair enough if that's not what you meant.
But it doesn't take a special snowflake to have taken it that way.
Maybe it wasn't Admin but a cowardly user mod who couldn't argue against what I said so they just deleted it, fucking coward
ambivalentmace:
funny, i got the same message word for word over the sanlitum bar article response.
ambivalentmace:
i think i said chinese were too self absorbed to enjoy a beer at a local pub and hangout and drink and be sociable after work. They have to drink to there drunk, rather than a couple of beers and go home to the family. if that has a racial overtone then fuck you and the horse you rode in on.
ambivalentmace:
perhaps hotwater is more sensitive as a moderator than alan was, thick skin helps a little.

I don't know who, but my post is back up, what's so offensive1?
I found an article that listed out terrorist attacks in UK in recent years, quoting prime Minister of Sweden's comment on the trend of terrorism being someone hoping on a car then drive it into a crowd, planned to read the full article when I have the time, only to find that thread of yours deleted. I did not save the link.
This is a pretty good one explaining why in certain cases reporters delay labeling an attack as terrorist attack but in others it is acceptable. It depends on if the attackers are dead or not because there maybe legal consequences if the attackers are on the run.

What happened to GI Jane's last post.?
It was just starting to get interesting .
Spiderboenz:
Possibly because she's a MOD creation, and people were starting to disassemble her ridiculous backstory.
Stiggs:
I don't like stuff being deleted unless it's for the obvious reasons.
If someone is making up a stupid identity which seems possible in this case,I think the people here are more than capable of handling the troll.

Stiggs: My point exactly, what's going on with this site sucks tremendously
