I think hell would freeze over before everybody could resist Facebook...at least at this point in time.

HA! A day with no one logging into facebook? The internet will crash and burn. It's not happening.

I use FB less in China than back home, and I have a VPN.
Question:  Why is FB banned in China but "the Social Network" can be watched almost anywhere here?
People addicted to FB have issues, but at the same time why are we addicted to this site?  OCD?

I think would be the same. World was ok before FB. Im sure it wont be the same after it.
Just like female models, in the 50's it was in to have models with "big" or meaty bodies; now trend has changed a lot. Now models "must" be skinny, sometimes anorexic to be "in".

Now FB is a long term trend and even biz tool for some companies so becomes a need.
I used to be addicted to it, really addicted haha since the ban came in China I had a hard time in the beginning but now its ok. Getting a VPN was a solution for sometime but after a while I stopped using it.
Even when VPN is cheap is just paying for having one more reason to stay sticked to my computer instead of doing something else. Just like "thedude" said.
