Kf you really have no idea what can they do, you have no need to ask such  question.  Maybe think an African man will be worth more if wife can cook rice.  In marriage there is no such a thing as value added, in fact, value is diminished because everything now is owned by two instead of one.

Happy Expat:If he knew what chinese women can do he would not bother to ask? Does it make sense to ask a question whose answers one already has? Not to me! Value adding - I personally believe there is  value adding in marriage. Do u get into marriage for u to deteriorate? U expect ur life to be better than before. U also have an obligation to make the life of ur wife better than it was before i.e. emotionally etc. That's my understanding of value adding in marriage, not ownership of material things as ur post suggests.

So is this one of those mail ordered brides and you want to make sure that you're not going to loose too much in your investment?  Maybe if you order one that has some sweet tightrope walking or juggling skills, then you can put on shows and break even on your investment.

The first question should be, "What does any wife do for their man when married?" As if Chinese women were different (collectively) than other women. There really isn't a common "group-think" going on, as in, "all Chinese women are good," or "all Chinese women are bad."
The answer, of course, is: Ask not what your wife will do for you, but what you can do for your wife. In other words, you want something, give first, and it will be given to you in return. People are funny that way.

The answer to the second question is quite simply, "No."
