Q: What visa do I need

Ok men

My resident permit expires on August 31st
Im not going to renew visa with that school

My other school which I moonlight for cant do visa
But my boss wants me to stay, buy without some breed of visa, I won't take the chance

If he was to open another school, and made me a partner just for visa purposes, it would be a business visa or what sort if visa would we go for, or how to do it so I can get a year visa

Just reaching out for some advice on how to get a visa

Are you still looking to do the same hours at your moonlight school or actually be a major part of the new school with more hours?

If you do plan on still teaching moonlighting hours there, is getting a job somewhere else for the visa an option? Find a uni job with low hours that would let you continue as you have been?

It might happen but I've never heard of anyone teaching (legally) on a business visa, even if they do have shares in the school.

If you're actually a partner of a company, then you are employed by the company, and thus are eligible for a full work permit.

You're also eligible to be responsible for all liabilities and expenses....

The reality in China: Visa's & Time are not friends (By White Rose.) It doesn't sound like time will work on yourside, I would stay where you are or get a job that can give you a visa

Looks like you have 90 days. If you want to continue as your doing then you should continue  with the school you are with now. You could also sign with another school that is in the same city. Your will need your Release letter so the other school can transfer your work visa and your FEC. Other than that; the only way to stay in china for the long term is to get married. That will also require going to your home country to get some documents.

What Ironman was trying to (partly) say was... the chances of you getting a business registered in your name (or as a Joint Venture) and get yourself a WP within only a few months (end of August) are pretty damn low!

It will most likely take about 6 months... but a minimum of 3 (and, end of August is sort of close to that).

I've been told getting a WOFE is quicker... but you're still looking at at least 3 months. And, of course, you need to have the funds in the bank for the minimum capital requirement. (note - if it's a school, then it's going to be over 1 million RMB)
