12 years 8 weeks ago in Transport & Travel - China
For me it was Hong Kong. Clean air nice people not overcrowded and a good atmosphere. There is a lot to do in Hong Kong such as going to Disney Land, Ferry rides and much more...
Maybe; Chengdu, Hangzhou, Maccaou, Sanya.
Depends what you're into and the weather.
You like; snuggling by a fireplace in a ski lodge, walks on the beach, etc?

Chengdu? How so? It's an honest curiosity, as that is where I am heading and in all the things I have read about it, romantic was not listed.

I've never been there. I've just heard the scenery is nice so I associated that with some peoples perception of a romantic spot.
Qingdao. Neat wine street, trees all over, beaches. Awesome.

You guys have strange taste.
I would expect foreigners like Suzhou, Hangzhou, maybe Xiamen. These are all nice too, with lots of romantic spots.
Beijing could be romantic with the hutongs but it's too big and dirty.
Yangshou...............then Hong Kong both great for good food and fun
Personally I think Hong Kong is too crowded, then rather Macau. There is a good mountain in the middle of the city which I found romantic.
Most romantic place for me and my wife so far has been Hangzhou. A boatride at Xixi is just perfect for couples!
Suzhou also had its moments, but I lived there, so it got normal quickly.
Hong Kong really? A romantic ride on the subway? 'Vatches, suit, vatches, suit'?
Hate that place.

haha...I mean I had fun there but wouldn't call it romantic...its good to get wasted for a week I guess
from the places i have been, i think Xia men and Macao are the most romantic cities...

Having just come back from Xiamen with my wife I would agree Emilychen. really nice place, lots to see and plenty of nice parks to stroll through.
