So you are male/female, who is Chinese/not Chinese (all according to your posts), obsessed by your body parts, who does business for ' a global company ' , yet they don't know how to formulate a business strategy in China, and are relying on you to get answers from a forum for mostly foreigners.

are you related to Vicky?

let the count-down begin........

Never fear Vicky, no one will usurp your position as queen of the witty riposte.

Not even your 'wise friends' will say that anyone can out-troll you.

1. Shake the right hands and build guanxi (mayor, officials, ...)

2. Push the concurrence out of the local market with help from the government.

3. Offer crap service at premium price, will work since there is no concurrence left.

thank you for providing insights for chinese marketing strategy. it well explained why successful marketing strategies fail here in China. however, what we do is services, we provide conferences for CEOs and senior managers, we also provide a platform here in china for companies in the US or elsewhere to get into Chinese market. so despite the very chinese characterics‘ ones, any other thoughts?

That reply was one of your best yet. It had the facade of actually saying something but in fact is gibberish.

Another idiot wanting to start a business and then asking a bunch of complete strangers what their opinions are. You haven't even given us the details of the business so how are we supposed to answer even if we could be bothered to. Asking questions like this on a forum such as this only proves to everyone that you have no real business sense.

ID01:

i hope you are not talking about me...this is not a new business, this is a new branch in china for a global company...
