It doesn't matter if your in the largest or smallest chinese cities. Your body still needs all 13 vitamins. You can get that from the foods you eat and your body can make vitamins D and K.

Vitamins aren't really an issue here.  Yes, you can get most of them through a balanced diet, but if you need supplements, Centrum is marketed here in China at just about every drug store in every city I've ever been to (even smaller cities).  Don't count on getting much from dairy products if you're used to them...  Supplements are a good idea for minerals though...

Mattaya:

Are you aware of what is needed for your body to make vitamins D and K ?
Do you really know what vitamin D does to you ?  What does it regulates?  What are the consecuences of a deficiency ?  Why vitamin D deficiency is so common in China unfortunately?

I will give you a hint.  It is closely related to the use of umbrellas here, and the idea that a white skin is beautiful.  Look it up, please.
