What was predicted for China has started to happen with the dramatic failure of its parabolic uptrend just over a week ago leading to a plunge. The update China Crash was posted when all indicators were at “nosebleed” levels late in April, right after which the third steepest fanline shown on our 1-year chart for the Shanghai Composite Index below was breached. Somewhat amazingly, that overbought peak late in April was not the final top – it rose even higher into early-mid June, but after that, just over a week ago, it finally broke below the parabola and started to cave in.

While low grade Chinese speculators who are leveraged to the hilt and up to their eyeballs in margin debt may have been unnerved by what has just transpired and are probably starting to break out in a sweat, it is considered unlikely that they appreciate the full gravity of the situation – many of them think that this is just a correction, albeit a larger fiercer one. So they are likely to buy this dip, some of them appreciative of the opportunity to get more stock at better prices. They have no idea what is really going on, but we do. 

Here is what is going on – the market has just dropped back from the peak of the Head of a Head-and-Shoulders top shown on our chart and if this interpretation is correct it should now rally from the vicinity of the low of the Left Shoulder trough of the pattern, that occurred early in May, where there is support. The expected Right Shoulder, projected to form as shown on the chart in red, will be the final trap. Once it descends from the peak of the expected Right Shoulder, after a little hesitation at support at the “neckline” of the pattern, where we might see a minor bounce, it should breach this support and then crash – not drop – crash – because the low grade highly leveraged speculators who currently populate this market will be forced to flee in panic.

Action in the Chinese action has some implications for other Western markets, since a crash in the Chinese market is likely to have a knock-on effect on bloated markets elsewhere. If the Head-and-Shoulders top in the Chinese market completes in a symmetrical manner, then we have about 3 weeks until neckline failure and a crash, and, perhaps, 3 weeks to prepare for Western markets to follow suit.

When I see those young people below 30 showing complete disrespect to their parents I want to beat the crap out of them but that would get me deported.

Being an independent woman doesn't mean you must treat your family like shit. They are from another time, they believe that they are doing the right thing, they want the best for you.

Next time instead of shouting at them, sit down and have a talk, tell them how you feel and think, and listen what they have to say, you can find a compromise.

I don't know how you Chinese put up with all that crap. I would have ended up doing one of the following if I grew up in China:

1) Kill myself (which explains the suicide rate)

2) Kill my family out of insanity (seen plenty of stories on this)

3) Take off and don't tell them where I am (I think this happens a lot too)

Chinese families can be extremely overbearing and controlling.

its a part of your or their culture traditions wanting to belong or identify themselves to chinese heritage And its been taught ingrained into them probably by their parents culture and society as a whole Maybe its a hope u have a future but they are stubborn refuse to believe or understand u are a adult grown up want to be independent more open minded and u can choose your own man be in charge of your own future without their help! Maybe they worry what will happen if u marry a foreigner leaving them alone so after they get older retire cant work anymore they wont have u around to help support them being u live in a different country married with your own life!

You have no reason to every visit them just never return to your hometown. Perhaps in the future when you are married you can talk with your parents again but for the next few years you should not contact your parents. They will try and make you feel guilty. Perhaps fake illness but you shouldn't return. Until they treat you like a person and not a retirement plan then there is no need to see them. Why do you keep visiting them when they don't even see you as an equal human being. You are just property to them.

invite your parents to stay with you for a couple of days in Shanghai... show them your lifestyle (eating, drinking etc..at western places) and let them meet your friends.... show them this is how you want to live, in the big city not in a village.

You can explain (without being obnoxious) that the village lifestyle is behind the times and you like to keep up with the times..  This may change their mind and support you more... 

Don't make excuses "they won't come" ...."I can't afford it".. "they won't support me"..etc.

If you want things to change in life, then you need to make things change.

Remember, it takes a lot of wrong turns to get to the right place.

 My wife have a friend, they was working together long time ago, they meet sometimes, chat by QQ everyday. her friend is about 30years old, little bit less then average looking. Anyway, not bad, but she kept high standards on finding boyfriends. so she was lone long time. until family decided that it is too late and she should marry someone. They find some boy, introduce them to each other, and they decide to follow the path set by parrents. just less then 2 month later they married, and she got pregnant. later on, the guys mother moved in the house and the story goes the that the girls almost daily complain about the MIL bad smell, bad habbits, and as she is going to deliver baby in near days, the MIL not even cook for her, they did not buy single piece of cloth for newborn nor any necessary thing you would expect. girls own parrents are somewhere happy that they have gave out the girl and no need to care anymore - btw, she has an older brother, who has own factory making some plastic shits, wife and 2 kids i guess. after she got married, no one care of her.  I started really worried about her.

 So, I fully understand your need for foreigner guy. Btw, my wife also complaining about my finances , but we are still fine.
