Q: What's the oddest question you were asked in an interview in China?

Can you get here in three days time? Um, no, you need to send me the foreign expert certificate before I can apply for my visa and that alone will TAKE three days.
Does the material on these chairs create static electricity in the hair on your balls? It was a buddy asking me though, so I guess it doesn't count.
Are you married? No.
Do you have a girlfriend?......

This is actually a pretty standard question to ask foreigners (especially men) during an interview. The reason they ask is to see how "stable" you are with living in China - ie, you're more likely to stay put if you have a wife or long time girlfriend (especially if she's Chinese). So, it's not that they care, it's a round-about way of asking "Do you plan on staying in China for a while?"

Strangely enough, the weirdest question I had in an interview came from a French guy, not a Chinese guy. The question was asked in front of the HR manager and my future boss (previous job in the US before coming to China).
"I am told I cannot ask this question in the US, but, if you wanted to tell me, you can....how old are you?"
Um....ok.
Do you speak German?
On my CV it clearly stated that I was born in Germany.
and one of the Universities that I attended was in Vienna.

In a taxi at night in Zhanjiang city Guangdong, the driver asked, "what kind of bank cards do foreigners use?" I told him, then he replied by asking me "whether I could tell him my pin number or should we meet his friends and they ask."
Yep his friends 3 friends had to ask several times before I told them.. walked home without a wallet~

I actually interviewed a Chinese girl this year for an office assistant job. She asked me if it was OK to bring her mother and dog to the office everyday because there is nobody at home to look after them.
I've got two...
1) Interviewer: Do you drink beer?
Me: Yes...but I never let it interfere with my work.
Interview: Okay good. My uncle said never trust anybody that doesn't drink beer. When can you start.
That was the only question he asked.
2) Interviewer: Have you ever eaten dog?
Me: Yes, I tried it once when I lived in (small town I lived in). I don't think I'd eat it again. Interviewer: I want to fight you.
Me: Bring it! I'm twice your size, half your age, and a man.
Interviewer: I see. We'd like you to teach children. Can you work afternoons and weekends?

Yea. The first one was for a job at in a town in Northern China called Benxi, and the second was for a cram school in the city I live in now.
There is clearly something wrong with people's brains here.

No lie some Chinese American guy was doing the interview! He tells me do you know any pretty girls! (DROOL) 
I have only taught English in CHina, and I am a white native speaker, therefore, no interviews were ever needed.
Attended an interview for the position of corporate trainer, for a very well known branded company in Wuhans Hi-Tech district. Upon arrival I was met by a very young 17 years old girl who ask ' do you mind if I test your English ability! I'm 56 years years young, from the UK, degree's in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, and a HNC in Child Psychology. I found her approach an insult, especially as her own oral English was very poor.
Does it count if you ask the question? I once asked for a sex slave in one interview.
They were actually going to do it. No, really... I shit you not. They were going to do it. I demanded on-site, around-the-clock sexual services from a young lady between the ages of 22 and 35. I only said this because I didn't want the job. Imagine how awkward it was when I accepted the job 5 months later...
