i am learning graphic design at the moment, would like to know what's the salary range will be at shanghai for a foreigh graphic designer? do i have to learn chinese?

First question for anyone seeking a job in another country: What do you bring to the table that the locals don't for a lot less money?
As far as salary goes, I hired many very talented, very experienced graphic (2D & 3D) designers over the years. The average salary was between 3-5k per month. And I paid high for the industry because I wanted to keep the talent I found.
And yes, you would most likely need to understand spoken & written Chinese (Both Traditional & Simplified).
