MyKal and Metro--both of these places have all kinds of import foods that are surprising to find over in China! I recommend going to get candy and cereal from your home country.

Auchan is pretty good. They have a bottle of Russian vodka for 40 yuan!

Agree on Merto! special they got good GOUDA cheese. And IKEA got coffee 15 to 22 rmb for 250 gram and it is tasty better than the 100 rmb one from carefour !!!

On line shopping is the best. Amazon ships to China and there are many Chinese web sites that carry foreign food.

Brick and mortar - METRO is in every major Chinese city

They at least might be able to point him towards a somewhat decent lawyer, I don't think they'd be of much help aside from that though. I doubt the lawyer would be able to do much other than help negotiate the compensation he will need to pay.   -- Stiggs
