Q: Where can I find large women's shoes in Shanghai?

Most shoes in Suzhou go up as far as 39. I'm a 40-41, or US size 9-10 so have given up and Suzhou and would go to Shanghai instead if I knew where to go.

Taobao!

That's your best bet. Or, remember, you're in China. Go to a fabric market, bring some pictures of clothes you like, get measured, have them custom made. Nothing better than a custom fit.

I just found out about this online shop run by foreigners for foreigners which sells everything from clothes, shoes to motorbikes! Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised that many of their women's shoes go up as far as size 41 so I'm sure you'll find something that suits you!

I just posted a blog about the best online Taobao stores for buying large-sized shoes. You should check it out! I do admit though that i didn't research men's shoes.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Taobao is the best choice at this point.

Search for 41 haoma xie, or 41码鞋 and look around. I wear 50 China/16 US, and taobao is the only place I can find shoes.
