Q: Where can I find trousers or suit to rent in Beijing?

I will have a small graduation forum and unfortunately don't have a suit. I don't want to buy it right now, but still need a trousers or suit. Does anyone know any places where I can rent a suit in Beijing? Thank you!

Only 'sha-bi' would rent suit in China, so most likely ...... still no rent-a-suit in China. Here's post from 2013 through Yahoo-gle:

At any university graduation i attended in China, myself and the other FT's were 'over-dressed' in formal suits.

the students wore jeans/t-shirt combinations and poorly fitting gowns (any old thing really), and the local teachers wore very casual clothes, and this was in one of the more 'prestigious' Universities in Tianjin.

Chances are you can get a suit made cheap and to fit from a local tailor.

At my university usually Chinese professors get dressed formally and foreign professors dress casually lol

i have been criticized by chinese colleagues for dressing professionally while at work, while they dress casually.

one senior chinese colleague even arrives in slippers.

if you just want something quick & cheap that will look ok just go to G2000

it's like the H&M of office/formal attire. It's not armani but it'll be fine and they're not shit quality. I have a tan G2000 suit I wear sometimes it's totally presentable looking.

If you don't care about having formal clothes don't bother with tailors just buy something off that rack that you like OK

@ Englteachted,

the OP got his/her degree in a Chinese uni (according to an earlier post), so we can't expect a rocket scientist with some common sense.
