Chinese military launches website to rat on leaks, violations & fake news
China has launched a website to report illegal online activities of the military and the spreading of “harmful information.” Earlier, the Chinese leader vowed to turn the People’s Army into a “world class force” and to “ensure a clean cyberspace.” What is clean cyberspace? China is beautiful and such ....?

a 'clean cyberspace' is a place of unicorns and flowers, where rainbows cover the sky.
earthizen:
LoL In front of the rainbows you see your fathers and grandfathers, namely Xi, Putin, Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin, Mao, Deng waving at you, ie if you are a prc mainlander and Kim Jong-un, Kim Jong-il, Kim II-sung if you are a North Korean.
The CIA do the same Icniff, as you know.
Radio Free Asia and all that.

hha,, dumb question for places like China, Myanmar, Cuba, etc. , but is it illegal to look at sh*t on the internet? I like hot girl sites sometimes, and clicking around it showed young girls, freaked me the fk out!,,, but anyway, is it 'illegal' in like the US to look at a website?
Boring, Serious question,,, sorry....
But to the OP,, will PRC bust our balls for saying shit like 'Mao was into Donkey D*ck' ? Do they have a way of seeing what we post and then come bust us,, or what? Serious question guys.

I am not sure will Gov. bust balls, but you have to be aware that after every (imaginative) handle is an IP address with your full name easily retrievable. Try to use public Internet cafe bars in China. You cannot because you don't have Chinese ID which is necessary before you can use joint's puter.
Post above is not about Internet police as it's about military to protect military (secrets and what not). However, I can imagine they must be everywhere around the net.
I read on Yahoo-gle there was a house fire last night in Bj with 19 dead and apparently there's not much about on Chin-web. Now, let say you would hit the Chin-wires and 'adjust/increased' the number of casualties or lie about cause of the fire, you would be certainly looked after ....
Anon handle doesn't protect you more than between us, i.e. 'I don't know who you really are and you don't know who am I'. But, a bit deeper than that, your real name is easily visible.
No such thing as 'anon' on web unless you use Tor Browser. Even at Tor, am just talking to myself 'nobody knows I clicked on that website ...', but fok-it I don't really believe anything on web is anonymous and I behave with my puter always in-line, i.e.'not different than in real life'.
