Ok, for those whom have dated or married a Chinese or Japanese lady whom is or has been a gf or wife which would u choose? Not just the looks area but in attitude the way they treated u the maturity respect
actually cub, Engleteachted has a point.
i don't like the way women (and men) are reduced down to cultural stereotypes when personality, compatibility and character are more important in a relationship than nationality and skin colour.
I find there is nothing more retarded than people who say 'I ONLY like Asian women. I ONLY like white men'
could it be that these people have been rejected by fellow citizens, have failed to find a compatible partner more locally and are tarring all women (or men) with the same brush based on a few relationships?
Is the grass greener in Asia compared to women (or men) closer to home, especially if you have never been to asia?
Do some guys think they don't have to make as much an effort in a relationship with an Asian women because non-Asian women challenge them on some way?
I know some of the guys here on the forum, from their posts, and some i know in real life, who make a big effort in their relationships, regardless of where their wife came from.
I equally know some guys who think that it is an honour for any woman to marry them and they need to do squat in the marriage or relationship.
who is to say that a guy who strikes out in (for example) America will be any more successful in having a meaningful relationship in Asia?
Could it be that local women find a guys personalty unattractive and then somehow it is their fault for not seeing what a gem a Neanderthal is. yet the same Neanderthal will think that somehow Asian women will be falling over themselves to hook up with them purely based on cultural stereotypes that have more of a place in the 19th century.
i happen to find a higher percentage of immature males in China than i would at home, and that is even when i give them the benefit of the doubt when i meet them.
Blondie_:
actually i could add, i know a Australian guy (not any on this forum) who calls all women 'chicks' and 'females' (and worse), yet gets very offended when women reject his complete lack of respect for them.
He blames women for his treatment of women and uses this as his justification for visiting prostitutes. I don't know what happened to him in his past to result in his vile comments, but blaming women for his unattractive personality is not the way to go. I avoid this guy because he is a compete dick, but i know he is not representative of all guys or Aussies.
cub:
well, blondie, isnt a woman a ''female''? whats wrong for a guy to call women/girls a female? Of course it depends on how he uses the word ''female'' like in a derogatory demeaning insulting degrading way. The word ''chick'' dates back to the 50s maybe 60s
Blondie_:
@ cub
this guy is just demeans women all the time - i can tell the difference
men I like and respect don't run around talking about females this, females that, especially adding the word 'bitches' after.
he arrived in china expecting women to run after him.
the truth is only the prostitutes and gold-diggers stay with him after a few conversations.
i would not tolerate the word 'chick' from anyone other than my partner (on occasion) - it is patronising.

Proof that you're a poser!
Quinn68:
You talk about how some guys say seemingly offensive words to women, and then you go and use the word "retarded." As a special ed teacher, I find this to be a highly offensive term. And incidentally, I prefer Asian women. White and black girls just don't do it for me. I truly feel this is a biological predisposition, and not so much the result of cultural or environmental factors.
cub:
Ok blondie i understand, and the ''B'' word i would never use As for this person u talked about his attitude lack of judgment values or morals or respect are learned or taught from his parents or friends or society none of this is accidental @ englteached as a troll u are getting desperate have to jump in and comment with a brain fart as a answer"? A ''poser'' thats the best u have? @ Quinn68 can u address whom u are refering to? thanks
Blondie_:
@ Quinn68
'retarded' is an apt description for supposedly educated people who consistently act like children despite knowing what they do and say is not the best or most appropriate way to act.
Whereas 'special needs' people might not know any better.
japanese girls are more independent, more money, more brains, don't need men, half with college degree are single. In short, if you want a Japanese girl you need the whole package and bring your best game and you still may get shut down because they don't need a man and their parents don't brainwash them to believe they need a man.
the barriers in japan are tough, 10 page essay in japanese to be a citizen, take a japanese name, visas and immigration are tough, good education to work there that is verified, absolutely no muslims allowed, because they import so much, what they export has to be the best to compete, no foreign slackers allowed, food costs is more than housing even if you never eat out.
I love everything about Japan but I am not good enough to live there and that actually does not bother me, I admire that they have high standards.
i have met many men married to asian in my work, private and military, i can never recall a single man married to a japanese lady that ended in divorce. for filipinos about half that i know ended in divorce, for chinese about a third, not many men are lucky enough to marry a japanese lady.
It's a matter of personal preference, and the individual. I have met some amazingly mature and respectful Chinese women. I've also met some that were so immature that I wouldn't trust them with a Pet Rock. I have had similar experiences with Japanese, Thai, Filipino, Korean, American, Arabic, and Vietnamese women.
This is a dumb question on sooooooooo many levels. 2 main things.
First, people are not commodities. Each person has their own personality. So you can't effectively compare one country to another when it comes to marriage.
Second, each person has their own preferences.
Something I don't expect you to know because you have to actually live life in order to know these things.
A poser claiming to have never been to China yet you had a girlfriend you wanted to visit, some girl willing to enlist you to help her invest,
cub:
eglteached as usual a snarky non answer from a amature as u im not surprised Wasting my time and the time of ECC as a troll u are very good at. Just admitit englteached, u and loser no anwer robkt dont have a answer because u both dont know the answer. No reply/answer from either u both is the best answer A new question being asked and u get so personal atacking the qustioner way to go! See how spider and redirect answered the question like a pro? and unlike snobs like u and robtk did Now when did I ever say I ''had'' a gf from china and never said I '' have'' a gf from china? See, too many assumptions without facts is gossip
Try a Filipina (not a bargirl). She may actually grow to love you. I don't know much about Jap girls, but love is a concept that is beyond most Chinese girls.
Haha Marriage to a Chinese is very difficult ands lots of work rather then love. So go with Japanese for marriage but it might be expensive to build a life in Japan.
What do you mean by Japanese or Chinese? Are you expecting someone to date in both cultures extensively in order to give you advice? But even so people will not be able to tell who is more suitable for you as each individual is very different.
People marry or date for love not for where the person is from.
If you tell us about your expectations toward a girlfriend or wife, Then maybe we are able to tell you which countries lady is more suitable for you.
Based on what we know about you, I think neither is suitable for you. I think you're just daydreaming. And your question is kind of annoying, ladies from neither countries will date you after they read your question.
Stiggs:
"If you tell us your expectations towards a girlfriend or wife.."
That's a good suggestion right there Cub.
It's impossible for anyone to give any meaningful advice without knowing what it is you're looking for but if it's mutual chemistry and attraction and all that happy stuff then I don't think it makes a difference where she's from, it will be there or it won't.
cub:
so stiggs and sponge u ask me a question to answer my question? Then u assume too much then u pick and analize find fault and redicule anything i divulge and say personally about myself like a shrink does? Done that once been there on this site wont again Seriously, nice try Actually u know a fraction a %point about me since neither of u have met me. Between a lady from japan and china there has to be differences like cuture upbringing expectations culture pressure in dating and marriage their attitudes and mindset even though they both are asians. Maybe my question was too general. What is more annoying is non answers to a question and just conjecture and assumptions with much gossip tossed in
Stiggs:
Cub.The reason it was a good question is that when you ask people what _____ is best for you, their logical question would be what is it you're looking for. How can they answer you otherwise?
Examples...
You go into a travel agent and ask where's the best place to go for two weeks? They're going to ask you what are you looking for in your holiday? Shopping? Chilling on a beach? Culture? excitement? sex tour? ocean cruise?
You go into a supermarket and say what should I buy, bacon or ice cream? You can expect a few questions yes?
You go into a pet shop and ask which is a better pet, a dog or a goldfish? expect some questions about what you want in a pet and what sort of lifestyle you have..
You want to buy a computer so ask the salesperson which is best? this or that? They'll ask you what you will use the computer for. Gaming or just general use? How much do you want to spend?
You go into a language school and ask what is better for me to learn, Chinese or Arabic? They'll ask you what you intend doing with the language and your reason for learning it.
So, when you ask a general question about which culture you should marry into, you can expect some questions.
cub:
@stiggs, there are many different ways to ask a question and get answers Like i said i was too general in my question, so my bad. On this site to be more specific and be more personal with a question is giving others here on ECC ammo to use againt the questioner to be used angainst him/her Soon the whole original question gets lost in the shuffle because the attacks assumptions and insults drown out the question Sorry, but on ECC it happens
Shining_brow:
Spongebob & Stiggs... stop using logic! It fails every time!!!
And don't every try for 'common sense'.
cub:
Also throwing shade and sarcasm dont help any and no, its not amusing

my wife is Chinese.
She is smart, beautiful and loves me very much. We have been together for eifht years now and have a beautiful daughter. Couldn't have found a nicer woman anywhere else in the world.
If I lived in China, I would choose a Chinese woman for a gf/wife. If Iived in Japan I would choose a Japanese woman for a gf/wife. The odds of getting a woman are better using that logic. I have a Chinese wife. But that could be because I didn't meet any Japanese women.
I answered this post to get points. I can't think of an intelligent answer to this one.
cub:
ok thanks but what good are the points u want to get? a jacket here?
