Thanks for everything and congrats on becoming the site's first Emperor. I'm tempted to give you admin status, but somehow I feel that wouldn't be much of a reward...
Many thanks. fellows, my best reward is the fun I do get from this site. As I did tell Ted a few days ago, becoming Emperor and 18 yuan will get me a double espresso at Starbucks.
Titles, points, etc do not make a person. And the satisfaction derived from helping others a bit is my reward on Earth, all BS aside.
My thanks to CAT, he has been very supportive and nice to me, even when he deletes some of my postings (and emails me). I have enjoyed your turn at the helm, you steer an almost straight course for a human do.
Also my thanks to all participants who sometimes put up with some of my preaching. If I have ruffled any feathers, my apologies, sometimes I do have a quick draw and fire a broadside. I do try hard to keep the talking at issues on hand, and avoid personalties.
And a special THANKS to my friend TedBBayer, who pointed this out to me on a PM a few days back, then spend a couple of nights going thru all my replies and giving me thumbs up so I will get there faster. He is responsible for at least 150 points in the last couple of days. I appreciate your effort and concern, but as I told you, I don't look at that at all, it is of no importance to me. But I do agree with your reason for doing so.
OK CAT, what is the salary offered for an Admin Status ?. Hope it will be at least one HKG cent per year !. Now please, do get busy and add a few more categories above Emperor.
