Q: Why can't US leaders keep their mouth out of uprisings?

Shit's going down in Iran, anyone with a brain knows in order for this to achieve a positive outcome America needs to stay the fuck out of it.

But before I can comment Trump has already put down the movement simply by supporting it

Rock and a Hard Place?    If he say's nothing he's a dick,,,, If he say's dictatorships can't last and the people will Rise he encourages increased suppression.

My vote is stand up and say it.  Chances are they will be suppressed anyway. So, to come out on the side that said for them to stand-up for their God-given Rights seems the better choice out of the two choices to me.

I just hope they get a bit more than words.  Surely CIA / MI6 can earn their keep and get some guys in there to invalidate ol' Khomeini's parking tag,,, you know,,, just as a New Year gift.

A: If he did contact the embassy they would tell him to engage a lawyer.
A:If he did contact the embassy they would tell him to engage a lawyer. They at least might be able to point him towards a somewhat decent lawyer, I don't think they'd be of much help aside from that though. I doubt the lawyer would be able to do much other than help negotiate the compensation he will need to pay.   -- Stiggs
