I've started to notice that in general, Chinese clothing and a few other random goods types are of WAY HIGHER QUALITY than what we buy abroad that comes out of China.
What gives? Why, in such a disposable commodity society, are my jackets and socks so nice but I have to send home to get my family to send me a Chinese made umbrella that will survive more than a week?
Same anywhere. Buy wine in a major wine-producing country, and it will be twice as good at a fraction of the price (compared to buying the same label in Canada). Likewise, imported Brazilian coffee here in China is often quite poor, but more expensive than it would be in Brazil. Don't know why, but it seems to be universal.
well i think it is not the case, it is totaly depending on buyer or importer for which goods & Grade he is paying for ?
China has A grade, B grade and C grade goods.
well i am from uk and everything what i am buying from the high streets shops of england are all good quality because our wholeseller or importer is buying A grade stuff from China and english consumer is also aware of quality stuff and government is also having checks and balance on importer quality.
yes we have poor quality as well in uk but u cant dispaly that stuff on the high street shops.
Government taxes people make things more expensive, frieght, insurances etc people who buy chinese goods don't want to pay so they get crap! simple as that, you want good stuff you have to pay!!plus all the other costs associated with it
