Q: Why do I now feel bad for Chinese men?

OMG!!! After reading some of your comments about Chinese men, watching a YouTube video, and reading a BBC article, I feel bad for Chinese men. Every time I walk pass the gaming rooms near my apartment and see them sitting in there playing games all night, my heart drops. Sometimes I stop and stare at them through the window and say, "Awww." Should I feel bad for them or are they okay with the fact that they may never marry?

Chinese guys like that have never actually slept with a woman. They just go to SPA's or massage parlors. So they don't know that some women like to sleep with a pillow between their legs.

Chinese men get hurt feelings when the wind changes directions.

It's pretty hard for a Chinese man that is outgoing and flirtatious to find a date, if a man like this actually exists, when you don't know if the lady your hitting on is dating someone or married, no wonder they play computer games and ignore a goddess when she walks by them with out even a glance.

@Tami you are sounding like insecure yourself, Self-boasting talks, looking down on others and hatred regularly are symptoms mostly appears in these cases.

You don't need to generalize and use racism on every topic. People are people, There are many different kinds of people everywhere.

If you have something better than others, be thankful, try to help. be cool and enjoy your life.

Don't feel bad for them.  Chiners aren't into girls.  Chiners are Butt Pirates.

I don't feel bad about them, some are fine and others are not, just like men anywhere else. The difference in China is that the 'not so fine' dudes can't accept it and try way too hard to overcompensate for it by playing fake tough and acting all cocky.

But I feel their deep rooted insecurities when I am sipping a coffee not bothering anyone and a short skinny dude can't help himself but to give me a strong death stare out of nowhere.

I don't blame them for it, I smile and mind my own business, but I have been saying it for years, these are not friendly stares.

I don't feel any sympathy for a bunch of fools that CAN NOT and WILL NOT admit their mistakes but would rather blame others for their shortcoming.

They blame foreigners for stealing their women, even stoop as low as to call them spies.

Pathetic. Insecure little creatures. I have seen some Chinese men who aren't little douches and they have no problem getting women.

It must warm your cockles to be so condescendingly superior to everyone. Your delusional melanated-aryan cult really did a number on you.

The answer to this wise question would save yourself from a lot of sufferings.

Many possible reasons, the most obvious being empathy. You are putting yourself into their shoes, saying to yourself, 'if I am like that I would feel awful'. What a sad / painful / wasted / ....fill in whatever you like.....life.

While you can be spot on, ie this is actually what they are feeling, for some, what you haven't done is take it one step further, asking what a normal, healthy psyche would become under such circumstances.

Imagine you are being locked up in a prison, what would you be thinking day and night? What kind of mentality would you develop? When you see visitors dressing nicely touring the prison, what feelings would come up?

Now, the warden broadcasts everyday that those visitors are the ones who put you in the prison. If you want to vent your anger, jealousy, hatred, they should be the targets, not the warden. They cheated you and they are your enemy, you must use all deceiful means you can come up with to bring them down, together all prisoners should unite, the prison is your home, without it you have no home, no prisoner id, you exist no more.

The above is a brief synopsis. You can still empathize with them, sure, what do you think if you make friends with them would happen to you? What do you think they are feeling and thinking as they interact with you? I think you are smart enough to figure out the rest.

There is a hawkish stream of thought in Asian cultures, about how to best go about achieving cultural dominance. The belief is, that expressing colonialist arrogance is necessary to establish a true feeling of superiority. It's not dissimilar to US warhawks who believe a country needs an outside enemy image in order to not fall apart from infighting. So it may actually be people's intended goal, to appear like a self-deluding chauvinist.

Perhaps you're very perceptive about the game of one-upmanship being played, and you're returning the sentiment. You're a convincingly arrogant, self-deluding chauvinist. With perhaps enough vocal advocates like yourself, you may be able to lift the self-image of black people through negative value judgements. Like Hitler's advisor Goebbels said: "Make the lie big, keep repeating it, and eventually people will believe it."

You appear to be quite vile, in the way you present your judgements. And you are quite happy to be disliked. But if you are in China, you really need to watch your step.

Looking at how racist you are it seems that you feel bad about Chinese men only because they are not "melanated"...

Lets play "hot or not", please share here a picture of yourself and let us decide if you are a "goddess".

A:I think the first "not smart" thing you did was to think of everyone as a subordinate. They are in fact your team members. You are also a team member and your role is to supervise, not flex your muscles. It drives you nuts when your boss does this and then you do exactly the same thing. Think about it. Adapt, change, bend the rules and be more efficient. -- iWolf
