Q: Why do people have to leave every 6 months?

I've met people who are here on a work visa or some other type of visa and they keep having to leave every 6 months, what's that about?

Depending on where they are from and what they do for a living, the most likely reason is taxes.  If someone works in China for over 6 months in a 1 year period then they have to pay Chinese taxes.  And most companies don't want to go through the international hassle of paying partial taxes in one country and possibly full taxes in another.

Yeh, there's people who actually do that, aren't there? Just sit at their computers going "nur, thumbs down" and "nur, you can have a thumbs down too". In fact who was that character in Bugs Bunny, the guy who always sounded really down-trodden and sad? I kind of imagine Mr Thumbs Down with that voice.....but wearing a girl's dress.

Here's a Mr Happy, thumbs up from me too XJ! Just 'cause........well shucks, I think ya sexyyy!

Getting a new visa perhaps. Maybe the 6 month 'F' visa.
