Oh sweet baby Jesus, how many of these are we going to get, huh?

I think you mean: "Why do English schools want people from the USA or UK, even though they don'have a qualification?" In any case, you'd be better using 'if' here, than 'though', since you're implying here that NO English speakers have any qualifications, which is simply not the case. And you've answered your own damn question in the question itself, as do 80 per cent of the people who ask!!!

Anyhow, they wants us because we speaks the english too better.

WTF, how can you possibly ask that question in the style of English you are using. I'm not against Non native Speakers with good English ability, but your English ability is just terrible

I think what this poor friend here is implying is not ' native speakers don't have qualifications'. After reading the question several times to understand it I'm sure his 'they' refers to Chinese schools, in which case the question implies the Schools don't know the qualifications of the US/UK nationals. I think the intended meaning is 'Chinese schools will hire any American/British, regardless of their qualifications'. And the post further implicitly suggests the schools may not even make an effort to check the teachers' qualifications...being a US/British national is enough. On whether his observation is correct or not, I'm not sure. I don't have evidence but as has been discussed a thousand times here, it's normal to have Schools prefer native speakers teach any given language over non-native speakers. When I just came to China, as a non-native English speaker, I was tempted to fall into the trap of ever grumbling over this way of doing things...but when I went back to my language education notes all my grumbling disappeared.Dear friend, better work on your English...one day you will land a job. Just don't be lazy because, apparently, there is a long way to go. Forgive me - though I'm a non native speaker of English just like you, I don't sympathise with mediocrity when it comes to language education ( and in fact any area of education), here or back home in Africa.

MissA:

I think your assessment of his original meaning is probably correct, Bona. Nonethless, shoddy and downright incorrect grammar leaves it open to many interpretations.

I'm curious about your English, though. It is entirely on par with most English speakers and above some. May I ask: did you learn at school or by experience, or grow up in a bilingual environment?

Bona:

MissA, you are right. Grammatical sins make it difficult for others to extract meaning from any given text. It's a big challenge for us non-native speakers of the language.

And....thanks for your compliment. I learnt English in school ( when I just started my primary education). The only real chance I had to speak English was in School, otherwise I've always spoken my mother language.

I'm wondering if it is just because the demand isn't quite there yet.  Japan used to be the same and then after awhile they started to employ standards and only higher people with certain backgrounds.  Maybe once there are enough individuals or more to supply the demand then people will start thinking about standards.  Native speakers can generally speak better English, but non-native speakers may understand the rules of grammar and language better. I'm not sure, that's just my take on it.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
