like, especially the people from South asia,Africa....
is that the reason they are blacks?? or something....
i heard that chinese people don't like black and brown skin..... Is this true??
Whjy? Ignorance.
Many of my friends dont not like black people. They now knows to keep those views to theselves. While I cannot control what they thin, I will not keep quiet if they says anything bad about any race. And, my Chinese is good enough to let people know that racism is bad, a product of ignorance and stupidity.

Thanks LAR, though my chinese characters need more help....
how did you come to this assumstion?
LAR:
Exactly Phil! An ASSumption. "Why are most Chinese women afraid of foreigners?" What an asinine and insulting question! :( First of all, it's not true. Second, there are some very strange Chinese females that have weird reactions if they EVEN SEE a foreign person. :( I know this from personal experience and have also observed this. Third, some Chinese females like South Korean females like to play the victim and will act like/insinuate foreign guys are bad. Fourth, there are racist Chinese females like some South Korean females that will clutch their bag, etc. tightly just walking past or being around a foreign guy, etc. :( I and other foreign guys know this from personal experience. * I just love these STRANGE,OFFENSIVE questions on this forum. :(
me and my friends happend to observe in many occasions?
so you are telling me that if a black man walks down the street all the women will run off screaming in fear
richirocks:
hi mr.philbravery, afraid of doesn't mean that they run on seeing blacks on the streets..
bill8899:
Well richi you did mention brown and black skin in your question so it's a fair comment.
mArtiAn:
The general consensus, as far as i've found from experience, is that dark skin is considered by many Chinese to be unattractive. The reason for this is that dark skin equates to poverty and being forced to work out in the sun. White skin means riches. Funny really 'cause in the west, dark skin means you can afford to piss off on holiday and lay on the beach. As for people being afraid, people are generally afraid of the unknown. I'm not sure what kind of picture Hollywood has drawn of dark skinned people over the years, but that's where most Chinese will have gotten their impressions from, good or bad. There's certainly truth in the idea that many Chinese are wary of black people, and foreigners in general, but it's nothing a smile, a beer, a chat or a simple introduction can't fix.
GuilinRaf:
In Puerto Rico, I always assumed I would end up with a black girl since the vast majority of puertorricans are black or mixed race....
please excuse the new answer thing but this tablet does not let me post in comments please tell us more about your observations
Okay, to be perfectly honest:
I am an American, who is in a serious relationship with a Chinese girl. IF I had a daughter, who was dating a foreigner, I would be concerned.
I am a foreigner myself, I have hung out with foreigners, so I know how we think: sex on demand, no strings attached.
I would indeed be worried.
That being said, I know that there are a lot of decent foreigners who would be a wonderful addition to any family. But there are also many foreigners who just want to bed as many girls as humanly possible.
Whjy? Ignorance.

theres a very large african community here in guangzhou and theres been a lot of problems between chinese and the african community, a lot of visa problems and just misunderstanding that got out of hand, anyways it always ends up on the news and not very clear and most of the time they blame it on the black people even thought the report isnt very clear
GuilinRaf:
What misunderstandings do you mean?
Most of them are visa overstays, oftentimes months or even years longer than what they were authorized for.
I have no pity for illegal Aliens, be they in America or any other country.
stan118:
i dont think everyone came here intending to over stay their visa, who is granting them a 1 month business visa when they clearly dont have a return flight, a lot of them that come here dont even have that much money, the problem is so many of them are coming here with little money and hoping to get involved in trade and are refused an extension, not that i agree with people over staying their visa or anything, but they shouldnt be granted a visa to begin with,
stan118:
as for the misunderstanding, for example chinese people tend to help each other if there is a problem with a foreigner and they just assume the foreigner did something wrong and some go over the top, same thing goes for the black community in guangzhou they all stick together, and most chinese people dont know anything about visas they just assume people come here illegally,
I don't think I have ever met a Chinese woman who was afraid of me. Actually, I thought the opposite, they were more afraid of Chinese men.
Many Chinese men do seem to be afraid of foreign men, but I think that is more feelings of inadequacy.
Based on my own observations, 12% of women are afraid of anything over 3''.
Scandinavian:
this is why going to the vegetable in the supermarkets is a daunting task for most of them
I really think it varies. Plenty of cases were Chiense women were more inclined to talk to me simply because I'm a foreigner. And then certainly some cases where Chinese women seemed really nervous.
I wonder if it's really "fear" of it's just "omg its a foreigner omg its a foreigner, how do i act how do i act!!".
Remember back to when you were in highschool or junior high and you saw a really cute girl and she actuall talked to you. Think about how nervous you would get. I think the same applies to a lot of Chinese women and foreigners due to their lack of experience and education on anything outside of China and their overall lack of sex education/relationships
This past weekend I had some beers delivered to my apartment from the local story, normally it's a guy but this time it was a girl that brought them. She seemed so nervous and terrified when I opened the door, she was literally shaking a bit. Not really sure why but yes I do notice things like that sometimes. It actually made me feel a bit bad like maybe I did something wrong or I give off the wrong image.
They aren't afraid of foreigners, they just don't know what to say. Regarding the looks ,I can tell you that most of foreigners I met here look like serial killers or pedos.
LAR:
"Regarding.................pedo's." What an offensive, ridiculous and racist thing to say! :(
