haha maybe because it's such an undoubted fact that nobody wants to bother asking . honestly, the domestic surveillance thing in America and China is a new evidence to prove that America has rules of laws while China is ruled by the great party, despite American laws are not always good ones. I do find the American government hypocrite because while it accuses Chinese hacking their military system ,enterprise and universities ,the NSA is actually doing the same on our universities ,students personal computers ,etc which are not in the military or government, said by the whistleblower. it's difficult to say who is the better one between Chinese and American governments, but a lot easier to say who is doing worse at a certain thing .

But the difference is, when USA hacks Chinese computers, they don't get anything new - just the stuff that China has stolen from the rest of the world.
Because up till now everybody knew that Chinese bears s..t in the woods, the evidence is left for all to see. It deters others from going into the woods.
Up till now the American bear was suspected of sh,,,,ng in the woods but always took the evidence away in a doggy bag. It seems that they may have run out of doggy bags so things are going to get a lot more smelly.
They do, and everyone already knows. Every PSB has access to your internet and phone records, etc. They don't even need a warrant.

it's just funny watching the prism thing being debated on cctv news and the chinese host at times says "we" lumping himself in with american citizens
I've had undercover cops or so I thought watching me. I've noticed them walking around, they must watch Chinese also.

There are spies from many countries watching you Ted. Your girlfriend was really a North Korean agent...
TedDBayer:
I know that too, they want me to defect. They heard I had a guided missile.
China's budget for internal security is bigger than for external security. So each time they deploy a second hand aircraft carrier they are also deploying surveillance and secret police around the mainland.
The good thing about monitoring is that it voids the need for trust.
Why does no-one ask if we need air to breathe???
Scandinavian:
this is China you don't breathe air here you breathe "fog"
Just look around, anywhere, and tell me, if you can hide yourself from Big Brother Eyes here. cameras are installed everywhere. Maybe even in your home, but you don't know it...
You're all wrong. It's because the glorious empire of tranquility would never stoop so low. Bow before your betters foreign scum and assume the position
