On my way to the downtown by subway, I suddentlyhad car sick due to bad sleep last night. I squated and had my head buried into my knees on the subway, which is obvious to see that I felt not good. No one ever gave seat to me, I waited fir a while, suddently two people were getting off and left the seat availbale. I was tring to take one seat and about to sit. Suddently one young woman and young man just sat on the seats before me. I got so mad at those people. what's the hell going on with them?
They just sat there without any impression on their face or just look at their smartphone.
I think in another old post, I used to mention that no one came to help while I fell down. People in this country is generally very selfish.
A girl in my sales department used to say that she won't give her seat to a pregnant woman. She said she would wait till others to give seat and if no one gave seat eventually then she would give. lol wtf If I saw a pregnant woman stood there without seat, I would give my seat to her immediately without a second throught.
Chinese always say we have a long history and civilization. But then where is the courtesy? I am not saying all Chinese are like this. I am Chinese, I am not like them and I found some Chinese are having a warm heart. But in general, most Chinese seem so selfish, everything is just about me me me.
I have been to America, people there gernerally have more courtesy than people in China. It gave me feeling that America is like a second hometown.
Why most chinese become like this? What happened with this country?
China lost its soul around the same time that it lost its culture.

I think it goes back further than that, I suspect China hasn't changed much over time, it has always been this way.
Ha, you're not the first to ask that question Vicki.
Best answer is... no why.
the eternal question. I don't know why, I figured just has always been that way. but if you really want china to change I think you all should chastise people openly. It's been my experience here that no one does that,,, or rarely,,, so, weird-ass behavior continues.
You see some turd barge on an elevator u push him off. you see some cretin painting grafitti advertising you photograph him and call the cops. You see some ape nongmin screaming at the top of her lungs, you shush her. People can be disciplined,,, just like we do with children and dogs. or, u can let them run wild,,, it's your society. :p

Yangism... Its real. Bing it.

Yep, Yangism... and I think the face culture has a lot to do with it too. People aren't willing to admit to their mistakes, and you can't point out when others are being dicks because someone might lose face.
