I am hired as a manager and the boss didn't even let me do my management job, it's me asked for the authority to train this girl when I saw that she can't write a decent business email nor have any good knowledge of displaying products on alibaba.

She never showed the respect for my instruction, instead she shows that she's annoyed by me to keep instructing her for doing things.

I even sent her a project form for teaching her how to manage the customers, she then arguing with me in a bad way and made unpleasant voice behind my back.

And she's very stupid, like she can't understand many things I tried to teach her to form  the business idea. She argued with me for not want to write everything in excel project form , she argued that she could write in notebook.

I hate her attitude really. 

And for someone who's so incompete, the boss is begging her to stay while she protest in not going for lunch. The boss bought her noodles and she refused the noodle and not ate anything the whole afternoon.

I only asked her to refresh 10-20 products on alibaba a day and fill all the customer's who inquired in the project form I made according to CRM system. Which is a really terrific form I made and valued a lot by my previous sales team I lead. She couldn't finish my assignment, lol. Then she acted all the way like a victim when I got mad and criticized her for not having good attitude towards work.

She's now doing the protest thing, not eat, not speak to me, not give me the report by the end of the day which I asked her to do earlier. And got off work with another girl without asking me. We used to ge off work together.

Now the rumors go around and probally everyone in my company thinks I am bullying her. 

The designer acted mad at me and kept blaming me for being too harsh on this young girl. Lol She has graduated from university for more than 2 years. And I don't think my requirement for her is too high( If she can't do that, the only problem is in her).

The boss just afraid that he'll have not enough sales to do the job cause his older sales is leaving soon. So he acted so unprofessional and begged somobe likes this to stay at his company. 

And that girl protested like that really embrassed me for working here. 

You know what, she even cried in the office. Lol

Now I become a bad manager bullying a sales girl. What a shitty day!

This girl has been protesting by not give me work report, and not speak to me.

Play the victim card and the designer girl stands at her side for criticizing me. The designer girl thinks I am too harsh on her and blamed me for hurting her confidence. 

 Wtf, Filling customers info in project form and refresh 10-20 products on alibaba are too harsh for a new sales? Stupid people here. Damn. I am so fed up with the incompetence.

The old sales girl will resign by the end of April, if the boss is smart enough. He could ask the old sales to follow those old customer orders and invest some time to hire someone who can actually do the job or shows the potential can be trained in a short time to do the job.

But the boss told me to not speak too much for maintaining the office harmony. He told me if this incompetent girl quits, I'll have to do all jobs which need several sales to get them finished 

I feel bad here. I rushed into this job for making a living while having no job. Turned out you just can't rush into a job without having a investigation.

Now I feel embarrassed working here. The designer has worked here for long time. Of course the boss will take her opinion for judging me. So now it's two against me. I am not in a good situation. It only made me look bad and made me appear that I am the one who can't get along with people.

The designer girl has no fucking idea of sales people trainning, management and evaluation. 

My request for trainning a new sales just fair, that girl just won her protest to me and embarrassed me in front of the whole company. What a joke!

She tried to not interact with me, I just ignore her as well. What a jerk!

Since when being young can be allowed to be incompetent? 

The designer girl kept saying to me: Do not be harsh to this young girl. You are a lot older than her. And you are scaring her.

lol I would shout to a lazy incompetent employee who repeadtly showed bad performance and bad attitude if I am the boss.

I have seen that most unorganized companies are runned by Chinese who just never got  experience of management. Many just made a fortune through working as a sales in the right time then open a company. Or someone who got rich parents open the company.

like in my previous companies, the one I quit from got branch closed after my resignation.

The one fired me got the whole sales team resigned soon after I left, cause the team told they only respect me being their leader back then.

In this company, I am sure it won't end any good if I make my resignation recently. My boss lacks of basic sense of company management. I suggested him to make email like sales01@xxxx.com, he asked me why not make it sales001, sales007...@com, he thinks that's like the movie 007 and will be interesting. I explained to him cause use one 0 look better and I told shorter email address is better. Then he couldn't understand it and just told me to drop the topic for now. And he hasn't set up the company email still even he has bought the domain. But it's me suggested him to register a company email to look professional, otherwise he wouldn't even have an idea for it. They just use private emails for sales through all those years and he couldn't keep anyone working for him through all those years.

I believe it's really important that you and your employer has some vibes on business concept and it will help you grow big in his business and it will come back to help his business. If I want to keep working in this company, I know I should never think like a manager and never try to train the sales team too much. Cause there's always someone who won't like your criticize after he repeadtly failed the task. And not all sales like my way of management, sales usually don't think like a manager, and they might against you if the boss didn't make his attitude clear to assign the manager the power to hire and fire incompetent sales. I can tolerate someone make few mistakes but not like making mistakes a lot. Since that's my boss's business, I have no right to force him to manage business in a way I wanted him to. The smartest way is either shut up and just works as a normal sales here and make some money and don't care about the rest people in the team unless the boss requested, or quit. Maybe I am not really suitable to work as a manager. Many managers would put up with shits to keep the job and shut their mouth. In the company I resigned, all managers there don't really do mangement, they just do what boss told and make money and they worked there for many many years and have no problem of losing jobs.

I went to the boss's office and told him that girl failed those basic tasks and I suggest him to replace her but he didn't take my advices.

The girl didn't give me report and nor copy her emails to me and instead she just showed me rude attitude and I heard her making unpleasant voice against me.

I feel frustrated when I think for the company but didnt't get taken seriously. I want to do it good and has something good to show in cv in case my own business doesn't work out.

But employer doesn't really take my advices and I no longer feel like a manger here.

The job ad said it's a manger job but the boss never told the sales here that I am the manager. And that I have not been assigned the power to do real management. And most of the time, when I tried to suggest a business management concept to my boss, he would have no patience to hear me to finish all the speaking. He just lacks of patience to hear a detailed speaking, that's just in his personality I feel.

Sure, I would definitely go for self-employed as I found many bosses are incompetent.

Yes, I am not qualified as the manager. But I am more qualified than many managers too.

I have sucessful proven record of sales team management. The team got sales skills improved fast and they sold more back then under my management.  But I was scary at work sometimes. I shouted when found them being lazy for not compete my tasks to them.

I am not suitable to be a manager. The only job suits me will be self-employed.

A friend said my mistake is overestimated my authority as the manager here when I couldn't afford it. Lesson learnt. 

The sales girl kept showing her laziness, not finishing tasks, not respect for my trainning.,etc.

I just couldn't tolerate with that anymore, so I criticized her in a serious way which usually many managers wouldn't act for keeping their jobs. 

Cause they are smart and knew only the business owners can afford to criticize in this way.

The girls connive together and walked together with me left behind walking alone,  my boss and the technique guys all saw that I have been isolated. It made me lose dignity(face) and I felt too embarrassing to continue to even going to work there after all the things have happened.

I have already told my boss that I decided to resign, he didn't approve my resignation cause now he didn't have enough sales to do the work for him.

But I already left a bad impression right? Can't count that lasting. Better to quit this job by myself to save some dignity before my boss fires me after he hired more sales to do the job.

I decided to go back to the office after Qingming festival and told my boss that:

I am sorry for everything has happened, and I think you should hire a manager which suits your company. I will help deal work for you till the end of April and help you to hire several sales and help train a bit before I leave. I have talked with A, she would like to help stay longer till May and I can also transfer the works to her first. ( A is the girl who has worked here for two years and quitting for going back to hometown).

Is that decent to give my resignation right? 

I really just want to not even go back to office cause everything is embarrassing for me now. But I want to collect my two weeks salary still, I can't just leave when my resignation hasn't been approved.

I worked hard, I made contact with 50 companies by visiting a show by myself in like two days. 

I made two customers from the show agree to do business with us. I got two customers willing to order samples.

I helped the business owner to register a Hongkong company with more professional name, I rebuilt the unprofessional alibaba store, I started to get the sales to fill all customers in project form to help keep the customer information from losing.

I did everything in two weeks and I only have worked here for two weeks. I think I did a very good job in such a short time?

I am not sure if only Chinese companies will not like me, maybe the foreign companies also won't like me to criticize sales who reapeadtly show bad performance.  You know office politics,  it always be a popular game people are so thrilled to play.

Maybe I just meant to be self-employed. Maybe most bosses won't like to hire sb who's being direct and criticize and shout to sales as the sales manager. Managers just the employees still, can't overestimate the power they hold.

When your colleagues don't like you, it feels awful to work here. Especially that Chinese girls will connive together to isolate you for being embarrassed. They do it since they were child and they are so good at playing games.

Like when I said I don't want to go out to travel with them in my private time, they mocked at me and laughed at me in the office.

I think that's my private time, I own it and I have my right to decide who I spend my time with during non-working time. My goodness, they just don't get it.

It's also the diffrent life values make me not fit in cause they don't tolerate people to be diffrent from them.

But I am so good with my western customers cause I understand their values. Like my British customer told that phone was for private and can't show me the product picture from that phone and I respect it. I assume those girls definitely won't deal the customer as good as I can do.

I was assigned to help my boss's Chinese friend to do interpreting with another two British customers. That lady asked me to keep telling the customers the same things and asking them to send the artworks for many many times, finally the customer was annoyed and told me to not ask for so many times. It was so embarrassing and I told the customer I was just her translator and it was her idea, the customer told that they understood. I felt all the craps here. I seriously don't like making friends with most Chinese girls. They are too annoying and have no depth.

Sadly he's the boss who has the money to hire people and he doesn't have great mind of business management.

He's a typical Chinese pursue office harmony. That drives me tired. I kept telling him I quit and he kept telling to just come to work and telling me colleagues should respect each other. Man, that's work, a manager order the sales to finish the task and the manager just crticized the sales for being lazy and not do work. If he's any sense of management, he shouldn't get into this. Criticizing isn't really great but how many managers never lose temper when found the subordinate being lazy and not motivated to finish the task and to learn? 

My boss recignized my ability but I don't like working for him. I don't want to get the subordinate running to my boss for my criticing then my boss keeps getting into my management. That's drama. I don't mind subordinate tells the boss they didn't like me, I don't play the authority card to that extreme, but I don't like my boss keep getting into my management. 

Let him lose a good apple for being stupid. He deserves it!
