Or are they still shadows of the marital art master Bruce!

You know the answer, no one again can be even in the shadow of Bruce Lee...
stan118:
jackie chan didnt copy bruce lee at all, infact he was one of the few people who tried not to be like bruce lee since every other film maker was trying to copy bruce lee style
You posted this in relationships? Porque?

ummmm GR you scare me just a little bit. No, you scare me a lot. You do live in Giulin, don't you? That's far away from me.
And I don't speak French.
Bruce Lee is in an urn, as he was cremated, so the chances of those other guys getting that big aren't bad.
When was Bruce Lee big? I've seen Enter The Dragon in reruns, it's a joke.
And none of them is Chinese. Bruce Lee was American, Jackie Chan is from Hong Kong, and Jet Li renounced his Chinese citizenship (now Singaporean), because he couldn't succeed under China's repressiveness.
nevermind:
Well, Bruce was born in the US, but didn't he move to Hong Kong like right after?
Either way, Jackie is a sellout biatch and Jet Li came too late. Lee was cool for many reasons, he genuinely was a cool guy.
Bruce Lee died when he was in his prime.
Jet Li and Jackie Chan are past their prime.
So, I would say no, they wont. If they were ever good enough to surpass Bruce Lee, it would have happened already.
Jet Li might have actually stood a chance. Jackie Chan? Too clowny.

I need to clarify, I am not in any way "dissing" Jet Li. He is indeed one of my favorites. Jet Li is great and his physical prowess is still very impressive. However, at 49 generally your physical prowess tends to diminish.
Jet Li is more physically fit than the vast majority of men his age and younger.
However, his prime was in his 30's which have already past. If he were to suprass Bruce Lee, it would hve been then. That is one part of the "problem". Another part of the problem also is that Bruce Lee is now a legend, while Jet Li is "just" a man. And Legends usually trump men.
I will add however, that as Jet Li thankfully is still with us, he has made many more movies than Bruce Lee did, most of which are quite good. "War" with Jason Stetham and John Lone is one of my favorites.
Not likely.
I hate to say this but part of the reason Bruce Lee is such a legend is because he died and he died in his prime.
There's a name for this but I forget what it's called. But it's a very common thing for someone to actually become far more famous than they were before if they pass away, especially if they pass away suddenly or in their prime.
It's sad but there are some cases (and will be more) of celelbrities who start to fade away from the spotlight and then try to commit suicide (usually through) drugs because they think it will make them more famous.
