Sure.  Just go to the local PSB and they will be happy to sort you out.

No. You need a new visa. If you are in China with an expired visa you have a problem.

If you are in China go to your local PSB office asap. If you are outside China apply for a new visa.

If you are in China, you are in deep shit, to put it mildly.  When you go to PSB you may me placed in jail, maybe not.  Will for sure get a monetary fine of X yuan/da x # of days visa has expired.  Will be given10 days to close  affairs in China, and deported.

5 months overstay is probably going to get you a 10,000 RMB fine, 14 days jail, deportation & blacklisted from coming back for 5 years!

If you are in China go directly to the PSB, they will not put you in jail. They will simply workout a deal and allow you to leave within 10 days. Trust me, please go to the PSB and then you can come back on and tell me how I was right.
