If I'm ever lucky enough to be chilling out on an uninhabited island I probably chose it for the solitude and I'd want to keep it peaceful and serene.

The last thing I'd want is some talking head harshing my mellow. If I had to have company there I'd go for B.

Someone has done the research with a bunch of Chinese people. And the results were shocking!

I want to see how foreigners will response to this.

And of course, I will let you know both of the results.

A.    no doubt about it.  B is just a fish, you can't look, talk, or even stand seeing a humanfish being around u day in and day out.  B would just wind-up on the cooking fire.

Let me guess...  The Fish-head, because "fish head soup," right?   Not exactly "shocking."

It would really depend on which culture's folklore the mermaid originated from. http://www.realmermaids.net/mermaid-legends/

'Choose?'

That certainly depends on the bait used as every experienced fisherman (like me ) would tell you.

And when your bait is proven successful  ....

"Noli equi dentes inspicere donati " .... that's how we said LTA, when I was 'fishing' still dressed in toga. .....

Good morning! It's sunny in me city .... for the shades Sunny with +13*C AM temp....

Well... "A" could talk with you, possibly hunt fish for you... and swim to find someone to rescue you. And it could give you some form of pleasure having a human upper half.

"B" would die on land (no lungs) or swim poorly in the water... can't really communicate, you could get pleasure from it... but who the hell wants to do it with a fish head/body female?

"A" seems to win without a doubt.

Stiggs:

A. Would it speak the same language, and if it did would you want to listen to it? Imagine having to listen to it go on at you all day about how that clown fish on the reef thinks it's better than everyone else cause he has an orange tail and by the way, you're on my island, this is my island, my ancestor saw it first and I have a map to prove it.....

B. Is there a paper bag on the island?

A. Mostly because I couldn't live with something that looked like it came out of a Monty Python show.

Hey Spongebob, what were the results of that survey you mentioned?

My guess is everyone just wanted to know where the island is so they can go and catch the mermaid. Mermaids are super rare, therefore they'd be worth top dollar in any hotpot restaurant, especially if you tell the customers eating mermaid will make their testicles bigger.

The fisherman who catches that mermaid would never need to work again.

icnif77:

One gurmet pro told me, testicles really increase under one condition: 'mermaid must be eaten alive ...'

surprise I mean 'eaten like 69eaten'

A:I think the first "not smart" thing you did was to think of everyone as a subordinate. They are in fact your team members. You are also a team member and your role is to supervise, not flex your muscles. It drives you nuts when your boss does this and then you do exactly the same thing. Think about it. Adapt, change, bend the rules and be more efficient. -- iWolf
