Q: Is a Z visa and work permit required for a foreigner to teach part time in China

I am looking for a teaching job in China.

My qualifications are:

1.Bachelor of Education.

2. Diloma of Teaching.

3. TESOL Certificate.

I am 69 years of age and married to a Chinese citizen.

I have 5 years experience as a teacher in China

Z visa, FEC, and WP are required for ANY type of teaching in PRC.  At least, if you want to be legal.

Married to a Chinese you can always get a i year resident visa easily. They tell you you are not allowed to work. But they actually turn a blind eye especially if you just work part time or if you do business.

Today in the news, the UK refuses to accept EU quotas on migrant numbers, in the US, a senior court has ruled Obamas migrant policy as illegal, in China, someone goes online to say its ok to break Chinese immigration laws. Illlegal is illegal, no matter what the country.
