Q: Are there any 'lao wai' food markets in Hefei, Anhui?

Am looking for a market where I can buy some ingredients to at least cook some western food.
A European bakery would also be nice to know now as we do have a Starbucks, but where?.

I just learned this in Nanchang, look for a Metro store it is huge and you need to sign up for a membership. It's like Costco or BJs in the usa

ellybeard:

Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street, Women Street, Anhui Commercial Capital, Hefei Drum Tower Shopping Mansion, Hefei Department Store, and Vista International Plaza. Especially the Huaihe Road and the Women Street (it is very popular among women) are the two Street you should not miss.

The Starbucks I have seen is on Huangshan Lu, another one opening soon right under Tesco.

Yes, it's nice to know there is Starbucks in Hefei. I am sure there are more around the city.

A:It happened to me, once ... in 2014 or 15 ... Plane from RP city (Tianjin) had a delay and I came to the exit (Luohu) some 7 hours after the RP expiration day.I had an excuse, but still I was put in a side office for some 3h and then cops had a short talk with '.. and make sure, it will never happened again! ..' and I was let go without anything on my record. At least, at new Z visa reentry nobody ever mentioned anything about delayed exit. However, I had a bad feeling at following Z visa application ...It's wiser to exit at least a day ahead of the RP expiration day. -- icnif77
