Q: Best VPN service for China?

So I have subscribed to VpnOneClick Pro and it really sucks because of the fact that it disconnects usually twice each hour. I haven't had this problem until I was in China so I wonder which is the most stable one out there someone had suggested HideMyAss but I heard it can be tracked by anti-piracy companies but as far as I am concerned China don't bother with privacy but blocking. Please advice any other with good price plans. P.S. I am located in Shenyang (located in Liaoning province of China)

you can load many vpn's on torrent websites with passwords and authentification codes, including the one your using now, because trolls lurk everywhere, we dont usually give names on the forum. why screw up a good thing.

I have a continuously updated article that answers this question: The Best VPNs To Use In China 2014. I also provide tips for connecting there, because it can be difficult to get things to work consistently.

I was in China January. Both hidemyass and PIA worked just fine. PIA seemed faster than Hidemyass. If you're concerned of Hidemyass's  privacy, take a look at these hidemyass alternatives, esp PIA and IPVanish

Free VPNs are not good if you don't concern about the tracking then you should concern about how Free VPN earn ?? They log your activity and sell your data or show advertisement which slow down your Internet speed.. China has a great firewall and its not easy to bypass the restrictions with free VPNs.. There are many Cheap VPN service for China you can use them such as PureVPN, HMA, PIA, Astrill etc.. they also offer free trail so try them.. best of luck

I think the article by Greyone mentioned above is a good one. ExpressVPN is a service I've used as well as HMA, VyprVPN, 12VPN and others. I think the trick is that you need to find a VPN service that specifically caters to the China market. If not, that means they're not actively avoiding detection by China's censors and will more than likely get blocked at some point.

Plenty of good lists have been mentioned here but I'll add one more just because it does a good job of "showing" the VPNs instead of just describing them:

The video reviews here are a fresh change from the usual and it's written by a guy who lives here in China.

Hmm interesting how a bunch of new accounts are the ones posting the  specific names of VPN's. Does anything seem fishy here?

I'm glad noone has mentioned my VPN here.  I'm not stupid enough to expose what I use.

I have been in China for 4 years and their government is very much restricted in banning VPN. Not every VPN works in China. I recommend you to use surf shark vpn. It's quite awesome to use and can unblock geo-restricted content in China. You can also read reviews of surfshark vpn for your satisfaction.

When I left China in April, you could find decent ones on the Apple App store. However, as soon as one becomes popular it would be blocked, so it's a struggle to stay ahead of the game.

A:Wow, you really found that nitpicky talking point that elevates the fossil fuel industry to the same level as the interests of humanity. Isn't it all just a "liberal" scam, if you don't look too closely at the absence of logic? "Yes, it must be. My masters are hinting that that's what I should believe!"

You've made it clear you are consciously ignoring the pollution and global warming. Since your handlers, the conservative establishment whose dismantling of the carbon credit system and environmental destruction you choose to ignore, have made it clear you should bark in this direction, you are eager to please!

Such an admirably domesticated, dependable, subservient human. I'm sure your handlers will throw you a bone while they bring home the bacon for themselves. You're so obedient, you deserve a doggie cookie! Who's a good boy? You are! Yes, you are. U-S-A! Woof woof woof! -- coineineagh
