Q: Can I work as an English teacher in China at 18/19?
I'm an American student, female, 18, and most job listings put the minimum age at 21. I was wondering if anybody had any experience or knowledge about getting a job at my age. I can also provide more information if it's relevant.

Simple answer...NO. You can not qualify for a work visa.
Simple answer...NO. You can not qualify for a work visa.
Search on web for "working visa ( Z ) in China requirements" to see more, but as @nash said above, you don't qualify for legal work in China because age limit for Z visa is 21-years old or older.
Since, you most likely have a student visa, you also cannot have 2 visas at the same time, even if you would be 21-years old.
You could apply at training mills, however if accepted, your work will be deemed illegal by the current Chinese law.
Good luck!

Hong Kong Forcing US Arrivals Into Quarantine Camps After Single Asymptomatic Omicron Case
Hong Kong residents returning from the United States are being forced to spend one week in a 'spartain' quarantine camp, after which they must serve out two weeks in a hotel room that they pay for themselves, according to the South China Morning Post.
The new measures which were announced on Friday come after the city's health authorities elevated the country to the highest Covid-19 risk level, prompted by one confirmed case of the Omicron variant in a traveler from the US - an asymptomatic 37-year-old man who had received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine and traveled from Los Angeles on Dec. 7.
In a press release, the city said that those arriving from the US would be subject to the "most stringent quarantine and testing requirements," which would take effect on Monday.
