Q: Can you return purchased DVDS?

If the dvd were broken and you wanted to replace it or get a refund can you? Now I've gotten refunds by the street sellers, but how about those that work in an actual store?

The reason is because I did purchase a dvd that did not work. Maybe it was the type of dvd that I bought which was blueray. Today I saw a lady trying to get a refund or exchange it and I heard two different answers from the workers. FIrst, it was that she couldn't get a refund or exchange because they told her she bought that dvd four years ago.

She denied saying she wasn't in CHina four years ago. They asked her when she bought it and she couldn't tell them. Afterwards, the guy mentioned to one of the staff in chinese that it wasn't their's and that they never had that dvd in the store.

I was thinking of returning my dvd that didn't work, but after seeing that whole charade I don't know if I should try to exchange that dvd that I bought either.

I would be getting an exchange if it was me. How could they not give it to you if you bought it from them and it doesn't work.

You gotta be the only person I know who buys DVD's while in China.

I exchanged my DVD for several times,if they really can't work or the quality is quite terrible, you can have an exchange with no problem. But you'd better exchange it in a week or so,or else, maybe the shopkeeper would have forgotten the deal.As for the refund,it's almost a mission impossible, just forget it.
