Here's a question.....

Are shootings becoming more common in the States than they were say... fifty years ago? or even twenty years for that matter?

I don't mean things like a drunk shooting his wife in a fit of rage or a liquor store holdup gone wrong, I mean incidents like at Nevada, where some nutter decides to kill as many people as possible. Mass shootings.

It seems to me like they're happening more and more but I don't know if that's just because the age of the internet has made international news more accessible or if it's a new trend.

If it is a sick new trend in society let's just hope the feckers don't start making mustard gas or something in their basements and releasing that in crowded places.

And there's another story of a college loser in Oklahoma (OU) threaten by texts to shoot up a bar but fortunately the girl that received the texts alerted the police.
