Wow, you really found that nitpicky talking point that elevates the fossil fuel industry to the same level as the interests of humanity. Isn't it all just a "liberal" scam, if you don't look too closely at the absence of logic? "Yes, it must be. My masters are hinting that that's what I should believe!"

You've made it clear you are consciously ignoring the pollution and global warming. Since your handlers, the conservative establishment whose dismantling of the carbon credit system and environmental destruction you choose to ignore, have made it clear you should bark in this direction, you are eager to please!

Such an admirably domesticated, dependable, subservient human. I'm sure your handlers will throw you a bone while they bring home the bacon for themselves. You're so obedient, you deserve a doggie cookie! Who's a good boy? You are! Yes, you are. U-S-A! Woof woof woof!

If you believe in global warming and the numbers are as bad as a quote "consensus" says, then it's already too late.

We move factories to the other side of the globe so Los Angeles has clean air and we promote batteries and electric cars (ignoring the pollution to create the batteries is worse than driving a fossil fuel car for a 140,000 mile). So China will follow our example and move the factories and dirty businesses to Africa.

If your a globalist and you keep moving the pollution to other areas and to score points on environmentalism, you are basically a hypocrite because the pollution is still around the earth just not "in your backyard".

The idea that a developed country should give it's money away to keep another poorer country from polluting the earth just simply want work as an argument with the average worker in any country. The attempt to scare, shakedown, and blackmail people into believing they need to help the poor countries stop pollution is the elites way of saying it's for your own good, but nobody is listening.

Since this is still answer of the day....

How TF does mismanagement of funds have anything to actually do with the environmental debate? Strawman at its best... (well, actually, probably a Red Herring.... how closely does it really relate?)

Trump says it goes up and down. Who knows? Who can be sure? I paraphrase.

It should be simple.

Even if it is a Chinese/ liberal hoax. The biggest conspiricy of all time after the moon landing..

Does it not make sense to be a bit cleaner in general rather than make excuses to burn fossil fuel?

Marco Rubio was astounding. His reply.. we might need to build sea walls in Florida.

No mention of pacific islands, Bangladesh etc.

My thought is this. If we brought Trump and Rubio to the real China, I bet they would be amazed at how ppl litter the street. They would be disgusted at householders sweeping rubbish onto the sidewalk. They would wonder why a culture could live with no apparent regard to taking personal responsibilty to clean up their own mess.

That would be my starting point.

People like Trump, who says they "don't believe" in Global Warming, or global climate change as is the proper term, are in fact saying "I don't understand global climate change"

it is a fact wether people believe or not

hi2u:

Trump never said he doesn't believe in climate change, just he doubts how much is contributed by people.

ScotsAlan:

I reckon they all believe in it. Even Trump. The denial is on the GOP manifesto. All must adhere the party line. (do they have manifestos in the US?). They have to obey the Kochs. An interesting story this week. The energy guy (Zinke?), put forward a plan to use military land and bases on the democratic west coast to export coal. California etc seem to have coal export bans, or they make it difficult. Reports say that the whitehouse knocked it back. It could be presumed it was because of the GOP belief in states rights. But I suspect someone in the executive was smart enough to realise such an act would be a government subsidy. Or maybe there is a secret believer in the bastion of democracy.
