Q: How do you think of those Chinese in exhibition?

I hired a German to help me in exhibition in Europe, it was her first day at work. But the Chinese who visited my booth only wanted to ask her about the products instead. They seemingly not want to ask me.

While I am the business owner knows everything, and my German employee has to ask me while she could not answer the product question when asked by the clients. Isn't that ridiculous? Why those Chinese think she is in a better position and knows products better than me? Only because she is white?

Good to see you haven't given up playing the victim in this humble-brag.

Chinese were probably all over her because she is hot.

Have you ever considered trying to be a nice person?

I also like cheap-ness of jandals. Pair of jandals in HK cost 10 or less HK$ and they last a year at minimum.

You can't get home slippers for that price. Jandals are also convenient to pack, when one's travelling all the time.

The only thing it bothers me a little bit is 'rubber'. Was looking for bamboo jandals in HK, but they don't make them.

@ icnif yeah I don't like the rubber ones much either, I find they give me blisters when they're new or if I walk a long time in them.

They're good if you want to take them off to swim across a river or something though, you put them on your arm up around the bicep area and you never lose them.

I couldn't give a flying unicorn what anyone writes here.

Ultimately personal attacks / insults directed at any poster impacts no-one but the person who posts - it says more about their character and ability (or lack thereof) to interact with others in a civil (and mature) way.

the inability to remain civil online, where you have the option to chose and modify your words (unlike when in a convesation) says  more about the character of the person who is posting and gives a good insight into them as a whole person.

You are so insecure. Typical Viki))

sorrel:

@ Samm,
help her out here - she just want's to be part of the 'i was the victim of racism' group.

if i nit-picked over EVERY time i was insulted/made the subject of derogetory comments while working in a certain country because i was Caucasian, - i would waste hours of my life.

Life is too short, and full or too many interesting and fun people and things to obsess about irrelevent things (and people) that ultimately have no impact on my life, or happened so far in my past that they have not made any impression on me.

If people make racist/offensive remarks - it is their problem, not mine, and in a way you can only feel sorry for someone who needs to behave like this. I don't let it become a part of my life.

Enjoy life, enjoy who you know, otherwise you will be the kind or person who no-one likes to be with becasue they moan a lot and bring nothing positive with them.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
