Q: How long does it take to reach the top of the Yellow Mountains?

And what's the accommodation like up there?

Depends on how quickly you climb and what form of transportation you use.

Helicopter, 5 mins.

Yellow mountains, not sure, but the purple and pink ones you can get there in no time flat!

As to the accommodations, they are whatever you can imagine!

Didn't do it on foot, there's a cable car, but it's worth the visit. Just make sure you book online beforehand, or they'll bend you over. Everyone asked for about 600 a night when I went there, but we went back down the mountain, booked online and got it cheaper. Can't remember how much, I was loaded at the time. But it was a lot less.

Definitely worth the visit. Don't do a tour guide visit though, they miss the best part, which is the Grand Canyon. Not as impressive as its American counterpart, but pretty spectacular. Don't miss it.
