For instance short skirts or anything distracting is that banned not allowed at your school?
I don't teach, but I bet that clothing optional is not allowed.
Same with pantless Fridays.
icnif77:
I researched your statement about 'Fridays' a bit, and....'panties-less' is grammatically correct as per Y!.

TedDBayer:
My link works, yours doesn't guess thats why. Don't get your panties in a knot.
It depends on the college. A lot of colleges prefer formal clothing.
GuilinRaf:
I have to wear a suit and tie. Students also have a strict dress code.
Today, my boss was not happy because I wore blue jeans, dress shirt and a blue blazer, no tie. I told him that I will come to teach today because it is required of me, but I will dress comfortably if I must do so on the weekend.
I will dress similarly tomorrow too....

I have an American friend who wears jeans during instructing in some university and the dean has no problem with it. I also have seen a female teacher who wears lovely (sexy) skirt and nobody threw a comment about her dressing way. I hate it when an employer shows a complete controlling over teachers.
pretty relaxed at my school, no ties, no sandals, no shorts, no tank tops, anything else is ok.
Every university I have worked at has required that I am dressed.
