While COVID-19 news flow from South America has been somewhat uneventful during the pandemic, one country to keep an eye on for future developments of a possible outbreak is Ecuador.

A new report via The Guardian has revealed some pretty shocking statics of a massive death surge over the last several months in one province of the country.

On a six-week basis, starting on March 01, 10,939 people have died in Guayas province, which is well above the six-week average of 3,000 deaths, representing a near quadrupling. Most of the deaths are situated in the province's largest city, Guayaquil.

However, there is some conflicting data, considering on Sunday morning (April 18), Johns Hopkins University COVID-19 data shows a total of 9,022 confirmed cases and 456 deaths in the country.

America On The Brink? Shocking Images Show "Pennsylvania Militia" Rolling Up To "Reopen America" Rally

America could be standing on the edge of a revolution. Seriously, well, with National Guard troops deployed across the country, any uprising would likely be squashed.

We noted late last month that a social bomb was set to detonate over major Western cities. It was thought that the epicenter of unrest could begin deep within inner cities, such as those in Baltimore and Detroit, but that might not be the case.

It appears tensions are soaring among anti-quarantine protesters and state governments. The lockdown backlash started last Thursday in Lansing, Michigan.

Anti-quarantine rallies sprouted up across the country over the weekend, organized by right-wing groups that held rallies in Texas, Indiana, New Hampshire, Nevada, Maryland, Utah, Wisconsin, Washington, and Colorado.

Attempting to show force, some protesters wielded rifles, handguns, and shotguns, along with American flags, Betsy Ross flags, Trump signs and "Don't Tread On Me" flags right up to the doorsteps of some state capital buildings.

there was an interview in a national daily paper here with a Taiwanese doctor - very revealing, but no bitterness about the way the WHO has treated them

I'd link the article, but it is subsciption  only

    icnif77:

Taiwan isn't treated as country in UN, WHO and other International org.'s. That is per Chinese mainland demand ...

I was at Taiwanese Embassy in London in 2009. First, it can't be called Embassy, but T. Cultural Centre or similar name. However, that is a place where they issue visas for Taiwan.

At that time, you couldn't get visa by mail (like Chinese Tourist/L), but it required in person application, so I went there ...

The place is completely underground in the middle of London ... You walk or drive on the road and once you enter Cultural Centre it's only one floor reception above the road not higher than approx. 4m. All other offices are underground.

I am still not sure, why is that, but at the time it looked to me it was built that way as a protection. You can see similar buildings in ME (Lebanon ...) 'cause of abundance of cars packed with explosives ...

Today, Taiwanese Embassy is called Taipei (not Taiwan!) Representative Office on Grosvenor Gardens in London.

I have an interesting read ...:

"Ncov virus didn't came from the lab ..." preliminary study ...

    https://www.vox.com/2020/3/4/21156607/how-did-the-coronavirus-get-starte...

    excerpt:

A preliminary scientific paper shows this is a genuinely new virus, and there’s no way it could have been engineered by humans

In a recent podcast episode, Racaniello discussed with two other researchers a fascinating preprint paper (that’s currently under peer review, according to the authors) about the virus origin. The key finding: that SARS-CoV-2 is “not a laboratory construct nor a purposefully manipulated virus.”

The paper, which was uploaded onto Virological.org in February, is written by several leading microbiologists who closely examined the SARS-CoV-2 genome.

Specifically, they found the unusual biochemical features of the virus could only have come about two ways after the virus jumped from animal to humans, or what’s called zoonotic transfer. The ways, they write, are: “1) natural selection in a non-human animal host prior to zoonotic transfer, and 2) natural selection in humans following zoonotic transfer.”

In other words, nature came up with these weird characteristics in the genome, either in an intermediary animal between bats and people or in humans after the virus infected one. As Racaniello put it on his podcast: “Humans could never have dreamed this up.”

What’s more, he noted, no known lab anywhere in the world was working on a coronavirus like this one, and its closest relative is a bat virus found in a cave in 2013 in Yunnan, China, 1,000 miles from Wuhan.“Presumably there’s a common ancestor, most likely from a bat or an intermediary animal that was contaminated by that bat,” Racaniello says.

The coronavirus would be a bad bioweapon

Several experts told me the theory that the virus was meant to be a bioweapon doesn’t make sense, either. One big reason: Covid-19 isn’t all that deadly or transmissible, compared to other potential pathogens out there.

“To make it as a bioweapon, if that’s what you wanted to do, there are scarier and more virulent pathogens to work with,” said Keusch of Boston University.

For instance, Ebola and the West African Lassa virus are deadly threats that can only be studied in biosafety level 4 labs, like Wuhan. Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever is a tick-borne disease that has a death rate of 30 to 50 percent. The global death rate for Covid-19, meanwhile, is around 3 percent at the moment, but it’s expected to come down dramatically as more cases are discovered in the coming weeks. And even now, it varies widely by country and region.

Simply put, if you wanted to release a bioweapon to kill a lot of people, there are much deadlier pathogens you could use.

The Wuhan lab has the same safety protocols as top biosafety labs in the US and Europe

In his article in the New York Post, Mosher suggests that we shouldn’t trust the officials who ran the Wuhan lab. “It sure sounds like China has a problem keeping dangerous pathogens in test tubes where they belong, doesn’t it?” he says.

I asked LeDuc, who runs the Galveston biocontainment lab, if he has any experience with the Wuhan lab. Turns out he has a lot. He and his colleagues have worked for six years with the Chinese team there, both in advising them on building their lab and keeping it safe, and on scientific collaboration. “I can tell you that lab in Wuhan is equivalent to any lab here in the US and Europe,” he said.

The state of Missouri became the first in the nation to file a lawsuit against China over their role in the coronavirus pandemic. Also named in the suit are the Communist Party of China, the government of Wuhan City, and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, along with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. surprise

Filed on Tuesday in the Eastern District of Missouri, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt accuses China of knowing that "COVID-19 was dangerous and capable of causing a pandemic, yet slowly acted, proverbially put their head in the sand, and/or covered it up in their own economic self-interest," according to Fox News.

During the critical weeks of the initial outbreak, Chinese authorities deceived the public, suppressed crucial information, arrested whistleblowers, denied human-to-human transmission in the face of mounting evidence, destroyed critical medical research, permitted millions of people to be exposed to the virus, and even hoarded personal protective equipment—thus causing a global pandemic that was unnecessary and preventable -State of Missouri v. The People's Republic of China et al.

According to the complaint, the defendants are responsible "for the enormous death, suffering, and economic losses they inflicted on the world," and "should be held accountable."

"When their actions began to kill hundreds of thousands of people across the globe, Defendants sought to minimize the consequences, engaging in a coverup and misleading public relations campaign by censoring scientists, ordering the destruction and suppression of valuable research, and refusing cooperation with the global community, all in violation of international health standards," the complaint continues.

Missouri cites a Fox News report that the US is currently conducting "a full-scale investigation into whether the novel coronavirus, which went on to morph into a global pandemic that has brought the global economy to its knees, escaped from" the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). The complaint also notes that an emerging theory states that WIV was "studying the virus as part of a commercial activity."

    https://www.zerohedge.com/health/china-sends-us-contaminated-covid-test-kits

It's bad enough that China has frozen exports of medical equipment to the US during the pandemic. Now a new report sheds light on some COVID-19 test kits from the country that were sent "contaminated.

The South China Morning Post (SCMP) said the University of Washington School of Medicine (UW Medicine) "went to extraordinary lengths to airlift tens of thousands of Covid-19 testing kits" during the start of the US outbreak to only discover last week that some of the tests are tainted.

"I've just recommended everyone who has these things pause and not use them at all," said Geoff Baird, the interim chair of the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine, who led the group to secure the tests. "I can't say I'm not disappointed."

Baird told SCMP that a colleague informed him on April 16 that some of the "liquid in vials he had sent appeared to have changed in color." In shock, he said he stormed out of his office down to the UW Medicine storage facility where the test kits were being held and started to "tear through boxes."

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/shocking-new-data-show-90-covid-1...

    excerpt:

Perhaps the biggest news overnight came out of Australian, where PM Scott Morrison called on all member states of the WHO to support an "independent review" of the origins of the novel coronavirus outbreak, further jeopardizing what has been an incredibly prosperous economic relationship with China that had helped the Aussie economy achieve an unprecedented 30-year stretch of growth.

Finally, the Washington Post reports that new data from New York’s largest hospital system showed that survival rates for patients placed on ventilators are even lower than previously believed. The data showed that a staggering 88% of coronavirus patients who were placed on ventilators in the state's hospitals didn’t survive. Doctors, meanwhile, are also seeing more strange complications from the disease involving blood clots and the cardiovascular system. One doctor in China who barely survived his struggle with the virus experienced an extremely strange shift in skin pigmentation.

This news follows yesterday's report which found more than 10,000 nursing home residents in 35 states have succumbed to the virus, representing roughly one-fifth of all deaths in the US.

The number of confirmed deaths from the virus around the world is approaching 200k, while the number of confirmed cases has surpassed 2,645,000.

    icnif77:

    https://www.zerohedge.com/health/renowned-microbiologist-claims-wuhan-lab-did-absolutely-crazy-things-coronavirus

Dr. Peter Chumakov of the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology and Russian Academy of Sciences claims that while the Wuhan scientists' goal in creating the coronavirus was not malicious - instead, they were trying to study the pathogenicity of the virus, according to the Daily Mail.

"In China, scientists at the Wuhan Laboratory have been actively involved in the development of various coronavirus variants for over ten years," he said. "Moreover, they did this, supposedly not with the aim of creating pathogenic variants, but to study their pathogenicity."

"They did absolutely crazy things, in my opinion," he said, adding " For example, inserts in the genome, which gave the virus the ability to infect human cells. Now all this has been analyzed."

'The picture of the possible creation of the current coronavirus is slowly emerging.'

Meanwhile, the head of Russia's Federal Medical-Biological agency, Veronika Skvortsova, told Russia's Channel One "This question is not that easy. It demands a very thorough study," adding "None of the versions can be ruled out."

"We can see that a fairly large number of fragments distinguishes this virus from its very close relative, SARS," Skvortsova added. "They are approximately 94 per cent similar, the rest is different… I think that we must conduct a very serious research.

U.S. Intel Community Says COVID-19 ‘Not Manmade or Genetically Modified’

    April 30, 2020 12:04 PM

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence said in a Thursday statement that the U.S. intelligence community “concurs” with scientific assessments that coronavirus “was not manmade or genetically modified.”

“As we do in all crises, the Community’s experts respond by surging resources and producing critical intelligence on issues vital to U.S. national security,” ODNI said in a statement. “The IC will continue to rigorously examine emerging information and intelligence to determine whether the outbreak began through contact with infected animals or if it was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan.”

On Wednesday, the White House ordered the National Security Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency to examine whether China and the World Health Organization engaged in a coverup of Covid-19’s initial outbreak. U.S. intelligence has already determined that the Chinese Communist Party attempted to conceal the extent of the virus’s spread by intentionally lowering its number of cases, but has denied reports that it knew of the outbreak as early as November.

ODNI also stated that the virus “originated in China,” after Beijing said earlier this week that it was a “victim” of a “disinformation campaign” surrounding the pandemic and accused the U.S. of “hiding something.”

Chinese officials and state media have pushed a conspiracy theory that the U.S. is behind the coronavirus, including claiming that the virus was brought to China by an American cyclist who took part in the World Military Games in Wuhan in October.

The Chinese Communist Party has aimed at stifling academic research into the origins of COVID-19 by requiring papers to be submitted to a state-appointed task force in order to be approved for publication. Chinese diplomats have also attempted to promote China’s image abroad, with the wife of the Chinese Consulate-General in Chicago sending a drafted resolution that praised China’s “effective” efforts against coronavirus to the head of the Wisconsin state senate in February.

President Trump Confirms "High Degree Of Confidence" That COVID-19 Originated In Wuhan Lab: Live Updates

    Thu, 04/30/2020 - 16:00

Update (1730ET): During a Q&A session with the press after his remarks on "Protecting America's Seniors", President Trump confirmed that he has seen evidence that COVID-19 originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology...

    Reporter:

"Have you seen anything at this point that gives you a high degree of confidence that the [Wuhan lab] was the origin?

    Trump:

"Yes, I have... Yeah I have, and I think the WHO should be ashamed of themselves because they were like the public relations agency for China."

"They shouldn't be making excuses when people make horrible mistakes, especially mistakes that are causing hundreds of thousands of people around the world to die," the president continued. "I think the World Health Organization should be ashamed of themselves."

The conversation drifted but the reporter came back to confirm:

"What gives you a high degree of confidence that this originated in the [Wuhan lab]..."

    Trump responded:

"I can't tell you that... I am not allowed to tell you that."

Earlier during the same event, Trump was asked whether Chinese President Xi Jinping should be held responsible for the coronavirus outbreak.

"I don't want to say that, but certainly it could have been stopped," the president said.

"I wish they stopped it. The whole world wishes they stopped it."

Forward to the Q&A (around -22mins from the end):

For the record, I really don't care about Zerohedge either way, wasn't even attacking them in fact but since you've thrown this out there as apparantly some sort of proof of ZH's journalistic integrity I googled the story you linked.

From what I understand (too lazy to find the original story) ZH didn't actually have any evidence or news regarding that story, it was them speculating - like almost everyone in the world at the time - on China's role in the virus and suggesting people pay the scientist (personal details included ) a visit. So it wasn't really news or reporting, it was their opinion and some doxing.

And as far as Trump saying he's confident the virus started in a lab... he seems to be contradicting his intelligence people and scientists who are saying they think it wasn't manmade or genetically modified.

Personally I think anything is possible, wouldn't surprise me at all if they were playing mad scientist and it got out somehow. But as of now, it seems like nobody actually knows and to be honest I don't trust anyone involved in this shitshow so whatever does come out I'll probably be taking with a big dose of scepticism.

Dozens Of Patients In Wuhan Have Developed 'Chronic' Coronavirus Infections

Naturally occurring coronaviruses typically don't become chronic...oh really?

    Stiggs:

Well I'm no scientist but when it jumps into humans for the first time I don't think you can apply normal rules to it anymore. The virus naturally occurs in bats and pangolins, it's not a natural thing in humans.

I read somewhere bats have an immune system that reacts differently to the virus than a human immune system does, which is why it hasn't killed off all the bats and presumably why they're such a good host for the virus.

The point of above is " ... human lives with different Coronas forever ... but Corona never turns into chronic ... ". That shows, virus was most likely moderated in a Lab.

Every flu is caused by the Corona type of virus as I understand. You're sick for a week or two, and after that evertything turns to normal.

Not at this one ... meaning is 'such patients are spreading it forever ...'.

Imagine, you got it and you get off ..., but then you are positive at every test ... That means, quarantine for the rest of your life.

Simply not true. The threat of such diseases has been growing. They exist in the wild and can and have mutated and passed along to humans. Warnings have been coming for years. I'm not even convonced that this originated in Wuhan, let alone from the lab there.

I have new one ... repost from NY Post:

    https://nypost.com/2020/05/06/what-is-china-covering-up-about-the-corona...

What is China covering up about the coronavirus?

    Excerpt here:

    https://www.zerohedge.com/health/database-wuhans-batwoman-altered-48-hou...

Database Of Wuhan's 'Batwoman' Altered 48 Hours Before COVID-19 Samples Ordered Destroyed

Days before the Wuhan wet market was bleached, whistleblowers were punished and virus samples were destroyed, someone at the high-security Wuhan Institute of Virology censored its virus database in an apparent attempt to disassociate the laboratory from a novel-coronavirus outbreak that would become a global pandemic.

This is what open-source intelligence uncovered in the United Kingdom reveals.

Substantial alterations to the WIV database on the evening of Dec. 30, the day before the World Health Organization was alerted to the outbreak of a cluster of pneumonia cases in Wuhan, are just another indication that the Chinese Communist Party is hiding something when it comes to the origins of COVID-19.

The question of whether the virus came from the Wuhan wet market, as China insists, or leaked from the nearby WIV laboratory, where high-risk research into animal-to-human transmission of bat coronaviruses was being conducted, is at the center of allegations of a coverup and a worldwide clamor for an independent investigation into the source of the disease.

Shi Zhengli, the virologist known as China’s “batwoman” for her work with bat coronaviruses, directs the WIV’s Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases and is listed as the primary database contact.

On Dec. 30, she was in Shanghai for a conference when she was summoned back to Wuhan with the news that a novel coronavirus had been detected in two pneumonia patients.

On the overnight train from Shanghai, according to a March article in Scientific American, she was stricken with worry about the coronaviruses.

“Could they have come from our lab?” she wondered.

After all, the closest known relative of this new coronavirus, a bat virus named RaTG13, was in her lab.

Weeks later, she would post a message on WeChat saying, “I swear with my life, [the virus] has nothing to do with the lab.”

But at some point while she was on that train ride to Wuhan, alterations were made to her database, which contained records of bat viruses transmitted to other wild animals.

Most of the changes were to delete the keywords “wildlife” or “wild animals.” This is significant, because global health researchers say the virus jumped from bats to humans via another wild animal — the crucial “missing link” in the COVID-19 transmission chain.

Shi used to boast that her bat-virus database was unique because it included data on virus variants in other wild animals.

Was her database censored to keep prying eyes away from references to cross-species transmission of viruses in wild animals?

For instance, the title of the database was changed that night from “Wildlife-borne viral pathogen database” to “Bat and rodent-borne viral pathogen database.”

“Wild animal” was replaced with “bat and rodent” or “bat and rat” at least 10 times in the database. Also, a reference to “arthropod vectors” was removed.

Keywords that might facilitate searches potentially connecting the database with the outbreak also were deleted. “Wild animal samples,” “viral pathogen data,” “emerging infectious diseases” and “cross-species infection” were keywords associated with the original version.

On Dec. 30 they were replaced with “bat,” “rodent” and “virus.”

“It looks like a rushed, inconsistent effort to disassociate the project from the outbreak by rebranding it,” says the British open-source intelligence analyst who found the alterations.

“It’s a strange thing to do within hours of being informed of a novel-coronavirus outbreak.”

He surmises: “If the WIV had found the missing link between bat virus RaTG13 and SARS-CoV-2 [the coronavirus that causes COVID-19] from an animal vector, it would have been in Shi’s database.”

There’s no conclusive evidence that any of the changes were made for sinister reasons.

But China’s lies and furtive actions since the outbreak lead us to believe the worst.

“This is an enormous crisis created by the fact that the Chinese Communist Party reverted to form, reverted to the kinds of disinformation, the kinds of concealment, that authoritarian regimes do,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in an interview Sunday with ABC News.

“There is enormous evidence that [the Wuhan lab] is where this began . . .

“These are not the first times that we’ve had a world exposed to viruses as a result of failures in a Chinese lab.”

On Wednesday, Pompeo walked back his comments slightly at a press conference. “We don’t have certainty,” he said. “We’re all trying to get to clarity.”

China’s refusal to allow an investigation of the origins of the Wuhan virus, or even to share original virus samples, impedes the search for treatments and a vaccine. As if that weren’t bad enough, now it is threatening economic boycotts against countries like Australia that want an investigation.

“The CCP organizational and governmental culture is to cover up and ruthlessly control,” says a retired senior Australian intelligence officer who served in China.

“The arrest of frontline health professionals in January was standard practice.”

We don’t know why the changes were made to the WIV database.

What we do know is they were made the same day a young ophthalmologist, Dr. Li Wenliang, warned colleagues in an online chat group about a “SARS-like coronavirus” among patients in the emergency department of a Wuhan Hospital.

Li was arrested two days later, along with seven other doctors, for “spreading rumors” and forced to recant. He died a month later, of the coronavirus, at age 33.

I don't really care anyway, don't see what difference it makes or how it changes the shitshow we're in now, other than as a tool to divert attention.

China was either playing around in the lab, made a mistake and released the virus or the virus jumped species in the wetmarket. Either way, they unleashed this thing, there were a series of f*ckups and poor decisions made and here we are.

Why do they want holders of native English passports to work as an English teachers?

'Rogue' Chinese Virologist Claims She Has "Evidence" COVID-19 Was Created In A Lab

"People are scared of the government but this was something urgent...I could not keep silent..."

    SEP 12, 2020 8:45 AM

Once again, the claims of a rogue Chinese scientist with a lot to say, and at least some evidence to back up her claims, has been ignored by the mainstream media. Intead, Chinese virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan, who was among the first to study the virus at a prestigious university in Hong Kong, where she worked before fleeing China, appeared on the British interview show 'Loose Women' late last week. During the interview, she answered questions about her claims, and reiterated that the CCP didn't just deliberately cover up COVID-19 in a manner that led to thousands of unnecessary deaths, the party also knew that SARS-CoV-2 was created by Chinese scientists.

Asked about the origins of the virus, the doctor said "it comes from a lab," again rejecting reports from last year that the virus originated from a Wuhan wet market, claiming they were a "smokescreen".

Dr. Li also commented on her claims that Beijing deliberately tried to cover up the outbreak when it first learned of the killer virus, effectively allowing it to escape China and infect the world. When she sounded the alarm about human-to-human transmission in December last year, her former supervisors at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, a reference laboratory for the World Health Organization, silenced her. After a while, she "could not keep silent", and decided to flee.

In April, Yan reportedly fled Hong Kong and escaped to America in an effort to evade persecution and to 'spread the truth' about the pandemic.

"From the beginning, I decided to get this message out in the world and it was very scary in the world because I'm a doctor and I knew if I don't tell the truth to the world I will regret it myself in the future."

"I never thought this would happen when I did the secret investigation, I [thought] I would speak to my supervisor and they would do the right thing on behalf of the government."

"But what I saw was nobody responding to that. People are scared of the government but this was something urgent, and Chinese New Year time, [I knew] this was a dangerous virus and all these things meant I could not keep silent, there are human beings and global health [at risk]."

China's national health commission has denied that the outbreak started in the lab, insisting there is "no evidence" the new coronavirus was created in a laboratory. Beiing has already scapegoated a large group of local party officials for the errors.

But Dr. Li's testimony remains extremely compelling.

On Saturday we reported that Dr. Li-Meng Yan - a Chinese virologist (MD, PhD) who fled the country, leaving her job at a prestigious Hong Kong university - appeared last week on British television where she claimed SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, was created by Chinese scientists in a lab.

On Sunday, Li-Meng joined Twitter - and on Monday, just hours ago, she tweeted a link to a paper she co-authored with three other Chinese scientists titled:

Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route

As a reminder, Zero Hedge was banned from Twitter on Jan 31 for making just this allegation, following a hit-piece written by an alleged pedophile (who was later fired for plagiarism) and countless so-called "scientists" screaming that our take was fake news and nothing but propaganda. Five months later Twitter admitted it had made a mistake, stating "we made an error in our enforcement action in this case".

Twitter Suspends Account Of Chinese Scientist Who Published Paper Alleging Covid Was Created In Wuhan Lab

Two days ago we asked "How long before the @LiMengYAN119 account is silenced." The answer:two days.

The suspension took place shortly after Dr Yan had accumulated roughly 60,000 followers in less than 48 hours. The snapshot below was taken earlier in the day precisely in anticipation of this suspension.

It is very hard to answer this since there is no one who admits to it and so does the lack of evidence on where and how the Corona Virus was created so only the scientists would know.

"Lab leak credibility ..." report ...

     , i.e. "in-ten-tio-na-lly" pron. 'in-ten-tschoo-naa-li ...'

Meaning: "In an intentional manner; with intention or design; of purpose; not casually." surprise

    This part ...:

"What virologists do have is genetic code. On June 6, physicist Richard Muller and physician Steven Quay published an article in the Wall Street Journal pointing out that the coronavirus contained a genetic sequence called double CGG that is a hallmark of laboratory experiments with viruses. That same sequence is rarely found in nature.

The double CGG sequence is found at the critical furin cleavage site — the very same feature that the Australians had found lacking in pangolin coronaviruses.

Fidopiastis, the CalPoly microbiologist lab., found the presence of that sequence curious as well. The coronavirus “doesn’t appear to have been circulating long enough prior to being noticed to have evolved a receptor so well optimized for human cells,” he told Yahoo News. “Thus, the lab manipulation scenario is far more likely than this happening by chance.”

I've always pin the entire blame on Australians .., i.e. Phil and Sandnose, too ...
