Q: 'Ladies and Gentleman' banned in London Tube pbs. Fake liberals at work?

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/232426

The London Underground has banned the phrase ”Ladies and gentlemen…” from their public address system.  According to ITV, Tube bosses have been told to use "gender-neutral" language and should say “good morning everyone”, instead. Mark Evers, Director of Customer Strategy at TFL said: “We want everyone to feel welcome on our transport network. We have reviewed the language that we use in announcements and elsewhere and will make sure that it is fully inclusive, reflecting the great diversity of London.”

Fake liberals at work? How come it sounds like 'good morning, comrades' to me?

Sadly, it is more a reflection of the declining number or real ladies and gentlemen that exist, rather than political correctness, but then you have to face the horror that you actually caused the problem and the unintended consequences, something most people will never admit.

Good Morning males and females and everything in between, have a bloody horrid day, and remember to cover up all the skin on those disgusting infidel females. This might be must right in 2040, happy to help, no bother, your welcome, have a cheery day.

I'm getting sick of these weak dumb people and their politically correct bullshit...
And if you dare voice your opinion and it conflicts with theirs they call you racist or xenophobic or white supremist.
Well to those people, shining clown and Sudsy Alan included.

The thing that pisses me off about stupid crap like this is the insinuation that people who use the term lady are implying some other meaning to it when they call someone a lady, when odds are the person using that word was being nothing but respectful and the idea that the word was insulting would never even occur to them.

I use the word all the time. One of my neighbors is an awesome elderly lady who is always giving me food.

I have a niece, and she is an intelligent, confidant young lady who will do well in life.

My girlfriend is a lady who is attractive, intelligent and has an independent streak that some Chinese don't like.

Anyone who tries to tell me that by describing these people as ladies I actually mean -----  whatever, can just screw off. Other people don't get to project their own hangups on to me.

I think my next vacation may be in Portugal, some sanity in the EU, refreshing and fantastic policy.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
