So you saw some people eat and drink stuff off the shelf without paying. I guess that's called being a dick. I hope a CCTV cam or one of many staff members on the shop floor saw them do it. Actually, why didn't you have the balls to stop these 'foreigners' and notify a staff member?

Yet you came here like a big man calling them out on echinacities which will result in NOTHING. Not to mention your question is racist. They're people, not foreigners. Why do you have to have to label these idiots? You saw 'people' of the human race who were involving themselves in illegal activity, race, religion etc has no part to play.

Never seen this done by foreigners. Many times by Chinese, though.

I like to open things and give Chinese people free samples in stores. Then I ask if it is good. Then I ask for money because I am store security and they are filmed. I let them off easy, only pay half price for food, good deal.

I sometimes 'sample' gummy style candy before buying some. It's not like full-blown snacking or eating, but I am often curious what I am buying before I scoop up a 1kg bag of various gummy candies. And by 'sample,' I just mean eating one, and not sampling each type. Just the ones I don't know. Does this qualify for the thread?

Yep, it often happens at Walmart and Carrefour, not so much at Metro. If they go in family, they would open bags of chips and bottles of juice make it look like we should be compassionate because they are feeding it to their kids.

People treat supermarkets like their homes here. They eat, drink, piss, shit, spit and stand in the middle of aisles chatting.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
