A year ago, President Biden told the world during a now infamous CNN townhall that "you're not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations."
"This is a simple, basic proposition: If you’re vaccinated, you’re not going to be hospitalized, you’re not going to be in an ICU unit, and you’re not going to die," Biden added.

All the media that came my way over the last two years or whatever said that the point of the vaccines are to give you a much better chance of not ending up in hospital if and when you get exposed to the virus, and that you will be a lot less contagious to others.
It was clearly explained that:
1. You might have no obvious symptoms, but you could still be passing the virus on to others. They might not be as lucky as you. The vaccine greatly reduces how contagious you are.
2. Even if you don't require hospital treatment you can still get pretty damn sick, like the worst dose of flu you ever had but on steroids.
3. Long covid is a thing. It can wreck you to the point where you can't work or do much other than stay at home and it goes on and on.
4. Our health system is already running at near capacity, a huge influx of covid cases would be a nightmare situation, not just for those needing treatment for covid but for anyone who gets injured or suffers an everyday health emergency.
5. People who are especially vulnerable include the elderly, the overweight, diabetics, asthmatics, those fighting cancer or other conditions that weaken their system, and a host of others. That's a significant chunk of the population.
These points have all shown themselves to be valid. I have no problem at all with my decision to get vaccinated.

Bride and groom know they have covid, but go ahead with the wedding anyway. The family were largely anti-vax covid deniers so obviously 'the wedding became a hotbed for the virus resulting in multiple hospitisations and the bride's grandfather dying from it'.
From the article they sounded like the sort of people who'd still think it's a hoax.

In my living environment, i.e. at least 1 MD per m2 of the house, I just hate and avoid all medical anything as much as I can ... and I am happy I avoided must-vax-scare!

In a speech in the European Parliament earlier this month, German MP Christine Anderson described the coercion of people into taking COVID vaccines as the “biggest crime ever committed on humanity.”
The MEP was addressing mass flight cancellations and staff shortages in airports and on planes, asserting that while it is claimed the situation stems from companies not hiring back enough staff after the pandemic, the real reason is that pilots and other staff have refused to get vaccinated.
Anderson further warned that “unscrupulous globalist elites” have used the pandemic for their own ends, asking “What in God’s name have they done with this?”
Addressing “each and every elected representative of people in every western democracy,” Anderson asked “What have you done?”
“You didn’t do your job, and do not tell me you didn’t know,” Anderson further asserted, adding “it is your job to protect the people that you were elected by.”
She continued, “There is so much coming to light, all of the adverse side effects, numerous studies now available, on foetal disfigurements… genetic defects of babies born to women who got vaccinated.”
“What in the hell is going on here?” Anderson urged, vowing “We will do all we can to make sure this is brought to light and ensure the rights of the people to be protected.”
