Q: Recommend a restaurant please

Hey,

Can anyone recommend any good restaurants in Changsha?

I've found a few but am always on the lookout for good new eateries. I don't mind if it's Chinese or Western, quick snack place or nice place to go with friends, but I'm on a budget so nowhere too pricey please (no more than 50 yuan per head, preferably less than 20). I live in Yuelu District but happy to got across the river (within reasonable travel distance though!).

For the benefit of any westerners in Yuelu who want to step outside China for the evening, try Hawa Cafe on 新民路 (Xinmin Road) . It's tucked up a side street a few yards east of the restaurant with fish tanks built into the walls. http://changshahua.com/restaurants/foreign-food/western-restaurants/hawa-cafe

Here is a list from the Chinese 'net of the 25 best restaurants in Changsha. It's not my list and from days in Changsha, I only was at 2 - 3 of these. In any case, best wishes for the New Year and here's the list:

A:Easter is a common egg-coloring, religious holiday in Western countries ... Here, we all stream upon improvin pesters' written English syntax. Most Chinese are unable to judge yer English. They just look at applicant's passport and if it was issued by the one of the 5 (or 6) native English countries, your English must be good, too. Yes, by the current Labour law provision, you qualify for an English teaching job in China despite you hold a non-native English passport.However, most recruiters and language schools aren't aware of that, so you most likely won't get too many replies at your job applications, but ... Never mind! Don't stop sending your CV until you land the invitation for an interview. You might want to stick the sentence about your eligibility for a legal English teaching job in China into the Intro letter or anywhere in your CV.As soon as you'll land an invitation for the interview, make sure you'll mention that provision to the interviewer, first!
