Hebei Qianhong Trading Co., Ltd. is a relatively sold and well-established Hebei trading company, known in this part of the country for being a supplier of some (relatively) toxic chemical products.  I believe that the OP may be an Egyptian or Sudanese company and I wonder if there are other factors at play here -- such an inability of the supplier to obtain an export license to ship to the shipper's destination, etc., etc. I think that more details may be required here before rushing to judgment on this matter.

thank you for your reply,

before we order or sign the contract , asked them if they can export and prepare all the shipping papers or not

they said for sure we can do it

and we mention that in the contract , also we added a penalty condition , if they delay

after 4 months , they said they can't get the export papers

and want to deduct the cost of trying to get these papers from the deposited

and never agree to pay the penalty

note , that after 4 months

so it is not rushing to judgment on this matter,

they already eat the money

I did not mean that you were rushing to judgment re the company, just re the issue.  Obviously, they could not export the product to you in the country where you are located.  Perhaps they thought that might be able to do so.  As for all of these charges being eaten up, I feel really bad for you.  If the charges are a considerable amount and if they merit the intervention of a Chinese lawyer, then you might wish to try that route.  Nonetheless, a lawyer engaged on a commercial matter in China is not cheap.

Were you aware or not aware when you tried to purchase these goods that they are a prohibited export to your country?  Might I ask that question, please.

all what we asked them to do is to follow the contract which they already signed and stamped, and before we go to the court we can negotiate about the penalty condition , but if the case already in the court , we have to hold this conation very strong, to pay for the lawyers , and the case charge.

any information please , send to my email , not here, but you can comment here as well

thank you

We are a middle company , our client asked us , before the contract , can do the CIQ , we asked the company to check , they said yes , also deliver time, we confirmed with them

and add a penalty condition, 4850 usd
now the client need his money , penalty plus the deposite, ,

this prolbem cause that we lost the trust of our clients

about 8 months we almost stopped working , they afraid to send any additional money , not to face the same problem

so we will never give up , we will get the money back any way , but this will cause them to lose thier name , i am sure , and also will delay our work

Hebei has gathered many frauds, especially in chemical industry, which totally destroy the reputation of china suppliers.

And scam can be avoided indeed, pay a company background checking or factory auditing would reduce much of your business risks in China, esp when you deal with your supplier for the first time, it's always suggested to check your supplier before payment.

You may mail to me for safe trading in China

Scam companies exist everywhere the biggest scam I ever came across was a company called Storesonline.com. It's funny because they are banned in about 38 of the 50 states and they are banned in several countries. Seems like everyplace they went they've been banned.

If you ever want to know the meaning of scam research and look at stories of storesonline. There is actually a video on youtube where they are doing one of their scam conferences that invite people and sucker them. The news lady was there and they were threatening to kick her out or call the police. She said go ahead and there was some strong case against them from like the FBI or some important judge that banned them from all of these states and other countries have banned them for life from ever having them put or use their so called product.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
