Q: Is there any deadly insects in China that you know of?

Are there any deadly insects that are known throughout China and which provinces can you find them? I've found deadly wasps in Shaanxi to deadly Spiders to other bizarre insects.

Spiders and centipedes are usually bad news. I have noticed in Guanxi however that Wasps are not as "ill tempered" as the ones in the US.

There have been cases of people dying from ticks, and some spider bites are very painful (camel spider, for instance) but very few are venemous.

Although not insects (come and get me, "Stay-on-topic-police"), I hear that some of the crabs are pretty deadly. Expecially those that are found in the pink light shops.

They say the bite from a centipede feels like being shot by a gun. Lots of venemous spiders, particularly down south.
