Q: Visa run to Kinmen, Fujian province, Republic of China

I'd like to know whether anybody has some feedbacks about doing a visa run from Xiamen to Kinmen (also known as Quemoy or Jinmen), Fujian province of the Republic of China (aka Taiwan).

For those who don't know the place, I invite them to read these Wikipedia articles:

The Republic of China is composed of 2 provinces: Taiwan and Fujian. The Fujian province of the ROC is tiny and only composed of 2 counties, basically a bunch of tiny islands: Kinmen County and Lienchiang County.
What's special about those islands is that there are very close to the PRC and far from the ROC. In the case of Kinmen, this island is very close to Xiamen and you can go there by ferry.
And yes, the PRC and ROC have both a province called Fujian.

Therefore, after doing some researches, it seems that you can do a visa run from Xiamen by going to this island.
Here's what I'm talking about:

I'd like to know whether some of you could share your experience of such a journey. Besides, do you know whether as of January 2013, it is still possible to do such a visa run? Will you indeed leave China (PRC) and go back by going through the customs?

I precise that I don't need to apply for a new visa, I still have a valid multiple entry L visa, therefore I just need to leave the country and come back.

Thanks in advance for your help.

This is a really interesting little piece of news.  It could avoid a Hong Kong run or a Macau run and Xiamen is a great medium-sized city.  I think that I will write the travel agent as I want to know if it would be possible to spend the night on that little island.  Thanks!

A:Most of the companies still use traditional methods of hiring such as, interviews, resume reviews, background screening, etc. HR professionals still follow the several, decades old pattern of personality assessments but in a quicker and efficient way, which will yield accurate results. Employee assessments tools are extremely beneficial in realizing the results are quantifiable and go a long way in ascertaining the work style and behavioral attributes of potential employees before they set foot into your company. In-fact they take out the guesswork involved in recruiting the employees who can work together.  The major benefit of the assessment tools is not confined to the hiring process, but also used as an effective tool of employee retention. The assessment tool will identify the gap between employee work style and job needs. They provide you a road map for recruitment of prospective employees and the further development of essential traits such as, leadership ability, individual development, team communications and conflict resolution. It will also help the employees to make better, satisfying and successful career choices. Nowadays more and more organizations are integrating personality assessments with skill tests, leadership evaluations, 360-degree assessment, evaluation and feedback, disc personality profile and behavioral assessment. -- LoganMountgarre
