Q: Website Moderators Turn to Drugs and Sex?
It seems being a website moderator is one of the world's most stressful jobs. Does this explain a lot?

I read somewhere the other day about mods on reddit who were moderating the discussions around the Christchurch mosque shooting and how it was a tough time for them.
Aside from having to police what is already a shocking event for a lot of people in NZ, it would have been crazy busy, seems like almost everyone in NZ went online to talk about it.
I don't think there was any mention of them doing drugs and having sex in the office though, I assume they were too busy to have any fun.

Congratulations to NZ for doing something positive in the way of Gun control. ..surprisingly sad its taken this to do it...but then again the Americans still are to stupid to do anything

Yeah good to see. It's not like the licensing system and firearms laws were slack before but the days of legally buying an assault rifle are gone unless you have a special class of license which is not an easy thing to get, and they'll be looking at tweaking the existing licensing rules too and possibly bringing in a gun register system.
Like you say, it's a shame it took something like this for it to happen but I suppose that's what it takes sometimes.
