Q: What are some touristy things to do in China?

I know visiting some sites like the Great wall but anything touristy that most people don't know about? Do they have deep sea diving anywhere?

Grand View Garden in Beijing. Not many foreign tourists know about this and is quiet compared to other parks in the city

Deep sea diving is a must. If you want to see China, you must see the bottom of the ocean. China owns the bottom of the ocean.

Have your wallet and phone stolen. Pay double for everything. Play shoulder tag with the locals, this is a friendly greeting. Live freer, enjoy littering with abandonment. Drink beer in public. You can really relax and have a good time every where. Just don't try to cross any streets. I do not no why, I just heard about that.

You must visit one of the famous tea rooms in Beijing. Customer service is so good at these places. They will even send a couple of pretty ladies into the street to escort you there. And prepare a very special price for you when you leave.

A:Going to HK would be the best bet I reckon, especially if you were looking for a church wedding. Chinese weddings are pretty grim IMO - you go to a barren govt dept with souless officials and navigate red tape so some guy can give you a red stamp and a marriage book. You get expensive pictures taken of you both posing in places you'd never go to in everyday life that is somehow supposed to represent your wedding, then a while later it's off to a restaurant where a game show host kind of guy makes sure it's as tacky as possible while the guests eat as fast as they can so they can leave as soon as they finish eating and gave you money. Hell, I'd go to Thailand or the Philippines and get married in Paradise.   -- Stiggs
